Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Conclave Favorites!

The theme this time was my favorite Conclave Arcana cards, so I chose this card.

WARWALL JUGGERNAUT.

Although its mana cost is high at 9, it can attack second thanks to its melee attack, Armored Strike double attack, and Reach ability. Its offensive abilities are very excellent.

However, it's a bit disappointing that its attack power is only 2 points at level 3. Well, that can be improved by making good use of the Painforge ability.

In terms of defensive abilities, it has 3 points of armor and 10 points of health, making its durability excellent. If I were greedy, I would have liked Shield or Void, but that would be greedy.


By the way, if you get BELLA to call you, you can get the Shield ability.

In this case, you can add the Shield ability to high Health, which seems like it would give you incredibly high durability, so I wonder why I don't see it very often. Is it because Life is weak in the Conclave Arcana environment?

Here is JUGGERNAUT's status.

JUGGERNAUT STATUS

Up until level 2, there are only two abilities: Reach and Armored Strike, but at level 3, PainForge is added.

PainForge is extremely effective at increasing attack power, making it the perfect unit for both offense and defense, making it perfect for any unit that may be lacking in attack power.


BATTLE URL

However, to really show off your skills in battle, you'll need support units. I'm using these two in this battle.

The first one is SHOCK TROOPER.

It's a magical attacker and also activates PainForge. When Electrified was released, PainForge didn't exist, so its ability only had drawbacks, so this unit has higher attack power to make up for that.

Water Diviner is also a unit that activates PainForge, but I wonder which is better?

The second unit is Arachne Waver.

His super-powerful ability, Corrupted Healing, is an incredible ability that heals all allies except himself by 70%.

That's why I added him to recover damage taken with Electrified. His biggest drawback is that it lowers your maximum Health, but the healing power and range are so good that it makes up for that.

The usual pattern is to use these two in combination, but this time I've added two units with Painforge in addition to Juggernaut, so as long as you can hold out, your attack power will increase rapidly.

ROUND2

By the end of the first round, we'd managed to take out two units in front of us. One of our own units had also been taken out, so if we kept attacking like this, it looked like we'd win.

Both of us were healing with Arachne Wave, so we needed to focus our attacks to take them down, otherwise they'd just keep healing. The reason we lost was because our opponent used Oppotunity and Senak to spread out their targets.

ROUND2-2

Barashkuker's 5-point magic attack power is scary, but I'm able to withstand it thanks to Juggernaut's high Health.

The only countermeasures I can think of are lowering its magic attack power or inflicting Void, but adding a Silence user will also lower its attack power, so I think Halving is better after all.

BARASHKUKER is seriously scary. I want it too, but it's one level below me, and even if it's on sale it's expensive, so I probably won't buy it.

In the end, I managed to win this battle. However, I often get overwhelmed when facing opponents with higher card levels, so I'd like to do something a little more. Is there anything I can do? 🤔

今回のテーマは お気に入りの コンクラーベ・アルカナ カードという事だったのでこのカード。

WARWALL JUGGERNAUT です。

マナコストは9と高めではありますが、近接攻撃とArmored Strikeによる2回攻撃、そして Reach アビリティのおかげでで2番手から殴れます。攻撃能力はとても優秀です。

しかし、攻撃力がレベル3では2点しかないのがちょっと残念です。まぁ、 PainForge アビリティを上手に使えばその点は改善できるけどね。

防御能力的にはアーマーが3点、Healthは10点もあり、耐久力も超優秀。欲を言えば Shield か Void が欲しかったんですがそれは欲張りというものです。


ちなみに、BELLA さんに呼んでもらえれば Shield アビリティは付与してもらえるんですけどね。

この場合、高Health に Shiled アビリティを付与できるのでめちゃくちゃ耐久力が高くなる気がするんですがあんまり見ないのは何故なんでしょうね。コンクラーベ・アルカナ 環境ではLifeが弱いってことなんでしょうか?

閑話休題。


そんな JUGGERNAUT さんのステータスはこんな感じ。

レベル2までは Reach と Armored Strike の2つですが、レベル3になれば PainForge が追加されます。

この PainFarge がとても優秀で攻撃力を上げてくれるので、ちょっと足りない攻撃力不足を補ってくれるので攻防完璧なユニットですね。


BATTLE URL

しかし、実際のバトルで実力を発揮するにはサポートユニットが必要ですね。今回のバトルではこの2体を使ってます。

1体目は SHOCK TROOPER です。

魔法アタッカーかつ、PainForge の起動要因ですね。Electrified の実装時は PainForge が無かったのでデメリットしかないアビリティだったのでその分攻撃力が高めのユニットですね。

PainForgeの起動ユニットとしては WATER DIVINER もあるけどどっちのが優秀なんでしょうね?

2体目は ARACHNE WAVER です。

彼の持つ超優秀アビリティ Corrupted Healing は 自分を除く味方全員を 70% 回復するとんでもないアビリティです。

という事で Electrified で受けたダメージを回復するために入れています。Healthの最大値を下げてしまうのが最大の欠点ですが、回復力と回復範囲がそれを無視できるほど優秀なのです。

この2体と組み合わせて使うのがお決まりのパターンですが、今回は JUGGERNAUT 以外にも Painforge 持ちのユニットを2体追加しているので、耐久出来れば攻撃力はどんどん上がっていきますね。

ROUND2

最初のラウンドが終わった段階で前から2体のユニットを落とせています。こちらのユニットも1体落とされているのでこのまま攻めていけば勝てそうですね。

お互いに ARACHNE WAVER で回復しているので集中攻撃して落とさないと、どんどん回復されてしまいます。相手は Oppotunity と Senak でターゲットをばらけさせたのが敗因ですね。

ROUND2-2

BARASHKUKER の魔法攻撃力5点が怖いけど JUGGERNAUT の高Healthで何とか耐えています。

対策的には魔法攻撃力を下げるか、Voidを付与するくらいしか思いつかないんですがSilence持ちを入れると攻撃力下がるし、やっぱりHalvingのほうがいいかな。

マジで BARASHKUKER 怖いんですよね。 私も欲しいけどレベル1少ないし、売ってても高いし多分買うことはないですね。

結果、このバトルはこのまま押し切りました。しかし、カードレベルの高い相手と当たる押し切られることも多いのでもうちょっと何とか工夫したいところです。何かないかな。🤔
