I'm not sure if it's because it's Halloween, but the Blood Moon rule has been added. I thought it was a Halloween-only rule, but maybe it's not and will continue to be used in the future?

Is Halloween becoming more common in Japan as well? I've never seen any kids walking around saying "trick or treat," so does that really exist? Is it just something that exists in manga or anime?

In Splinterlands, Halloween skins are now apparently on sale in the Glint shop, but I'm not really a fan of them so I'm completely ignoring them.

Apparently there are 13 types for sale in the shop. It's great that you can definitely get them by paying Glint, but there's nothing I really want that's worth paying Glint for.

It also seems that Halloween skins will be available from Loot Chests. The skins that may be available are 13 rare versions of the skins that can be purchased with Glint mentioned above, 4 summoner skins, 4 rare versions of summoner skins, and 3 Spooky Skins that were previously released.

I'd rather have this rare version. No, I don't really want it...

Back to the topic at hand.

What caught my attention was the newly added Blood Moon rule. This rule grants Blood Lust to everyone, friend and foe. You and I become vampires.

In other words, when they are defeated, they strengthen the enemy. If you put in small units, they will just make the enemy fat, so I think the correct answer is to place large units, but what do you think?

Or would it be better to use clever positioning and place small units in places where they won't be targeted? However, I don't think it would be that easy because they would be targeted by Oppotunity and Snipe.

In this battle, I've placed a large tank unit up front, but the durability of the three units in the back isn't particularly high.

My opponent is using a magic attacker formation that attacks from the front. All of them except for the lead tank are Foundations cards. But they're actually quite strong. The Summoner with +1 magic attack is strong.

As expected, by the start of Round 2, my first and last two enemies had been eliminated, putting me at a huge disadvantage. 😱

I was on the verge of losing, but then Hippopotamus came into play. As expected, the combination of his two-hit attack and Blood Lust was perfect.

Blood Lust also increases Armor, which increases the damage of Armored Strike. Very powerful.

The enemies are all magic attack units, so their armor won't be worn down. The Juggernaut, with its high health, barely holds out, taking out two enemies with attacks and Armored Strike. It also gains +2 attack power, health, and armor. Very powerful. 🥳

Units with Double Strike and Execute, which let you attack twice, also seem strong.

Of course, Oppotunity is also likely to be strong, as it lets you directly target units with low Health.

How can you strengthen your own units without strengthening enemy units? I'm looking forward to the various possibilities for these rules.

ハロウィンがだからかわからないですが、 Blood Moon ルールが追加されていますね。私はてっきりハロウィン限定のルールかと思っていたのですが実はそうではなくて今後ずっと続くのかな？

日本でもハロウィンは結構一般的になってきているんですかね？トリック・オア・トリート なんて言いながら歩いてる子供なんて見たことないんですが、ホントに存在するんですかね？漫画かアニメの中だけの存在じゃないの？

Splinterlands ではハロウィンスキンがGlintショップで販売されるようになったみたいですが、私的にはいまいち好みじゃないので完全にスルーしてます。

ショップで売られているものは13種類という事らしいのです。Glintを払えば確実に手に入るのは良いのですが、わざわざGlint払ってまで欲しいものないですね。

後は Loot Chests からもハロウィンスキンが出るらしいのです。 出る可能性があるのは上記のGlintで購入できるスキンのレアバージョン13種類、サモナーのスキン4種類、サモナーのスキンのレアバージョン4種類、過去に発売されていた Spooky Skins が3種類。

どうせならこのレアバージョンのほうが欲しいですが。いや、別に欲しくないかな...

手に入れたスキンは別のアカウントに送ることも可能らしいですね。ちなみに軽く見たかんじで、私にはさっぱりわかりませんでした。🤣

話を戻します。

私が気になったのは新しく追加された Blood Moon ルールです。敵味方、すべてに Blood Lust が付与されるルール。あなたも私も吸血鬼になります。

つまり、倒されると敵を強化する。小さいユニットを入れると敵を太らせてしまうので大型ユニットを置くのが正解だと思うのですがどうでしょう？

もしくは、配置を工夫して狙われない位置に小型のユニットを置いて狙われないようにするのが良いんですかね？でも、OppotunityやSnipeで狙われるからそんなにうまくできなさそうです。

このバトルでは前に大型タンクユニットを置いていますが、後ろの3体の耐久力はあまり高いと言えません。

対戦相手は魔法アタッカーで前から攻める編成ですね。 先頭のタンクを除けばすべて Foundations カードです。でも、実は結構強いんですよね。魔法攻撃力+1のサモナーが強い。

案の定、ROUND2 開始時には先頭と最後尾の2体が落とされて既に超不利な状態です。😱

このまま負けてしまうかと思ったのですが、ここからカバさんが大活躍。やはり2回攻撃と Blood Lust の相性が最高です。

Blood Lust で Armor も増えるため Armored Strike のダメージも増えます。とてもつよい。

敵は魔法攻撃ユニットばかりなのでアーマーを削られることはありません。Healthが多めの JUGGERNAUT がぎりぎり耐えて、攻撃と Armored Strike で2体倒す。そして攻撃力もHealthもArmorも+2される。とてもつよい。🥳

2回攻撃できる Double Strike、 Execute を持っているユニットなんかも強そうですね。

もちろん Oppotunity も強いでしょうね。直接Healthが低いユニットを狙えますからね。

いかにして敵のユニットを強化させず、自分のユニットを強化できるか。のいろいろ工夫できそうなルールで楽しみです。
