Hello everyone, how are you all? i hope you all are doing well and i am ok ok and after very long time i am using 3speak because its best thing and easy one for me to post a video. I just explain what i sthis surgical procedure is. The surgical procedure is called Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP) in which the prostate gland which is exclusively present in males and it is surrounding the urethra at neck of the urinary bladder. whenever the prostate gland increase in size, it will block the urethra lumen and the fow of urine and patinet will come with complaints of urinary urgency or incontinence, difficulty starting urination, a weak or interrupted urine stream and feeling of incomplete bladder emptying. The condition is called Benign Prostatic hyperplasia. but we should be cautious because it can be malignnat also. So we need to send the prostatic tissue for histopathological examination. We have to remove prostatic tissue so that patient can urinate freely and he won't feel the symptoms that he had before. Now, how to remove the prostate tissue? for that patient was given spinal anesthesia and then intruments related to this procedure are inserted into urethra and with bipolar energy is used to take out the prostatic chips. you can see in the video those are small chips and these chips first kept inside the urinary bladder and then again they will be taken with a bottle which is connected to instruments. These TURP chips are then sent to histopathology to rule out malignancy. BPH is most commonly seen in elderly age group. Hope you enjoyed the video and understood.

Thanks for reading, with regards,
