Hivechess S1R11 Summary & Winners

Hello Chess players on Hive,

Yesterday , we played the Eleventh round of the weekly Saturday HiveChess Tournament. We had a total of 32 players join this event. A very good number. most players turned up and made this round exciting. Players like IM @stuffings and @madchess64 who missed a couple of games came back to play.

Congratulations to @tangibleay for winning the tournament. His second Hive chess tournament win! He played a number good games. His consistency today and Determination earned his first place finish. @poseout87 could only finish 2nd after a tough race for first. We also had @justfavour earning himself another top 10 finish in a tough field.

1. We play every Saturday at 15:00 GMT
2. We play on an open-source chess application, www.lichess.org
3. To start up on Lichess, kindly read @samostically's Introduction to Lichess Platform
4. Register with your Lichess username in the comment section if your name is not on the mention list.
5. Total play time is 1 hour and 10 minutes. Time control for the tournament varies with each round.
6. Feel free to write about your tournament experience and post the link in the comment. Quality posts will get curated. Alternatively, you can post on our Discord channel.
