Good morning to all my Hive friends! The traditional village-style Ambarella dish captures the authentic flavor of Sri Lankan home cooking — both delightful and nutritious. Ambarella, also known as the June plum, naturally carries a tangy and spicy taste that blends beautifully with the mix of local spices and chili. Adding a bit of sugar helps to balance its sourness perfectly.

In the rural cooking method, the use of fresh, natural ingredients and simple techniques brings out the wholesome richness of this fruit, resulting in a dish that is not only healthy but also deeply satisfying. Rich in vitamins and fiber, this Ambarella curry is a wonderful addition to any nutritious meal, representing the essence of Sri Lankan village cuisine — simple, pure, and full of life.
