I woke up to find a note on my pillow “You have 24 hours.” As I gasped for breath, little did I know that I was in for a treat. It was the day of love, Valentine’s Day and I didn’t expect much from anyone, I never knew someone saw me as special enough to surprise me.
I have received a few gifts from people on my birthdays but I wasn’t expecting anything on a day like this. As I read the first line with sleepy eyes, I expected to see other instructions but the whole page was blank. Just at the bottom of the page, I saw P.T.O.
Please turn it over. Why would I want to turn over at this very sleepy moment? What sort of stress is this early morning? As I complained in my thoughts, I turned as ordered and read through the words, connected with arrows, each showing a different step. I was discouraged, tired and sleepy as I dropped the paper and decided to sleep, a call came in.
Seeing who it was, I knew I had to read the instructions, it was my babe, I decided to read through and as I followed each step I found myself at the back of my building with only my boxers and singlet as I never dressed up before following the instructions, I never knew my babe was in the vicinity as I got to the back of the building I heard the door shut behind me!
“Who is Titi?” As I heard the voice of my babe, I wondered if this was a good treat or a setup. “You don’t want to stay out in the cold without your clothes I assume? Tell me, who is Titi?”
I smiled and replied, “Babe my phone is with you and there is no Titi or any other lady, you are the only one I have?” “So why didn’t you send me a message this morning?” She asked. “I am sorry, I was going to take you out.”
She opened the door and handed me another note. “That is the concluding part of the note I gave you,” she said. I gave her a suspicious look but she ignored me. After opening it I read, I know I shouldn’t have blushed but I couldn’t hide my feelings, it was the loveliest note ever.

I took her to a well-furnished restaurant, as we ate I looked at her and smiled, I thought she actually discovered I was cheating but thankfully, she didn’t.
