In my opinion, the best means of life as a teenager is through the guidance of God and making the decisions that please Him. According to the Bible, one should put his trust in the Lord with his heart and not rely on his own knowledge ( Proverbs 3:5). This implies that we should never be uncertain about the ways God does things, because they are the best. Respecting your parents and the elder is one of the significant methods of living well as a teenager. The Bible is a teaching that states that you should honor your father and your mother, and your days will be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you (Exodus 20:12). I have also understood that I can prevent problems and make better decisions by listening to the advice of my parents. They have led a life more than I have and their advice is a blessing. The other option is through good friends. Friends have an impact on what we do and what we think. It is also possible to be surrounded by people that want to follow God and be guided in the right direction to remain the right way. Bible cautions, Do not be deceived: bad company maleficest character (1 Corinthians 15:33). I also make an effort of spending time with friends who will push me to do good things and help me out when I do the wrong thing. Having a meaning in the life of a teenager is also about making a good use of time. It is important in school, hobbies, serving people and learning new skills. I have observed that when I do what makes me productive and do not use time and resources on other destructive things I become happier and more confident. The bible warns us, do not work lackadaisically, do all you can with your heart to work, as laboring in the presence of the Lord (Colossians 3:23). Lastly, it is necessary to pray and read the Bible. Conversing with God on a daily basis keeps me close to him and know what he desires in my life. In the process of praying and reading the Scriptures, we are advised on how to make decisions that will bring us a good and meaningful teenage life. To sum up, the best teenage life is based on having faith in God, respecting parents, surrounding with good friends, spending time wisely and staying close to God. These steps do not ensure a perfect life, and the steps do not ensure a full of blessings life, but make life live.
