Greetings! One thing I have realized in this life is that, anybody can be of help, atimes, those people will always look up to may not even be of help but strangers.
So, If there's anyone that has been so beneficial to me as a stranger, there would be no other person than Shola. I got to know the show not long ago.
I got to know him through a very close friend of mine, Femi and this was in the year 2020, during the covid19 pandemic. Then, I was to relocate from where I was residing at Osogbo, a southwestern city in Nigeria to Ibadan, another southwestern city.
Although, I had contacted my bossom friend Femi that I would be relocating to Ibadan and that I would be staying with him for a while. Also, I have given him the date of my relocation to the city and we've both agreed that the date is good and okay.
So, on the set and agreed date, I called him that I was about to set out for the journey and he said there's no problem, he's already expecting me. I was happy and confident in our already made agreement that he would accommodate for six months before I found my ways to getting an accommodation of my own. So, I set out on the journey and I got to Ibadan around 6pm in the evening.
However, on my way to Ibadan, I tried calling him, I mean my bosom friend, Femi, but he was not responding to my calls. So, on getting to Ibadan, I continued calling his number, but this time around, his phone was switched off as said by the network provider. So, when I realized that his phone was switched off, I began to wonder what's wrong with him and at the same time, thinking about what to do as I was already stranded at the park.
But as the thought of what to do was running through my mind, I remembered that Femi had once called me with his friend, Shola's number in the previous day, so I decided to call his number and fortunately, he, Shola answered my call and introduced myself to him as Femi's friend when he heard this, he asked me where I was and i told him i was at the park and he told me to give him some minutes which I did.
So, before the twinkle of an eye, he came around and took me to his place and that's how I was saved from being stranded. Though Femi came the following day, Shola saved me from trouble and I was so grateful for that and aside that, that single incident was the connecting factor that has brought us together even till today and he's been so helpful to me in so many ways
