Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
In the above scriptural verse, we would see how God has given us our own free will as humans to choose between life and death. Although, because of his concerns he admonished us to choose right by choosing life.
According to Bro. Eli in his teaching, one would see in his teaching and from the biblical story of creation that God has created everything good for man before man was created, talking of our foods, clothings, soil, rain, just to mention but a few.
All these good things had been in existence before man as the track of a train had been before the train.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Here in the scripture above, we were being told of the good works which had been ordained by God before that we should work in them.
Looking at all these scripture and the teaching of bro. Eli, one would realize that God loves us and for him to have given us our free will and not be forced to do his will is a testament to that fact, just that we human have chosen evil over life as recommended by God.
