Greetings!
According to the scripture in the book of Matthew 21:13, Jesus Christ said, “It's written, My house shall be called the house of prayer, but ye have made it a den of thieves.”

So, watching Bro Eli Soriano's video, I got to understand the message clearly that Jesus Christ was making reference to the already written scripture about what the house of God is made for.
According to Jeremiah 7:11, we were also told what the house of God stands for, which is prayer and not a robber stand. So, all these scriptural verses are pointing to the house of God to be a house of prayer where people commune with God.
But, now, a place that's been designated for prayers and communication with God has been turned into a den of robbers and a business district.
One thing I'm very sure of during that time when Jesus uttered this statement was that he was not happy with what was going on at the Jerusalem temple as the use of the place has been tampered with and a place that was supposed to be a sacred place had been turned to a desecrate place.
I would not say the people didn't know the purpose of the place, they know it, but because of their own evil way of life, they turned it to what suits them most, which is for transaction.
So, also we have it today, as it's back then, so it is today. Also, christians of nowadays have also turned the house of the Lord to a place of transactions and a den of robbers, thinking they're doing what's right, not knowing they're not doing what's expected of them, i pray may Almighty God help us to live a life of God where we do what's right has he has commanded and not what we think is right as we have back then in Matthew 21:13.
This is my entry to the MCGI topic review.
