Greetings!
One thing that I have always witnessed in my life is being offended by people. People have always been stepping on my toes and there's nothing I can do as regards this because I have no power to influence what others do to me.
So, revenge is the effect of what's being caused by being offended. So, on a more serious note, I have my own way of taking my own revenge which is quite different from what revenge used to be right now which in most cases used to be in a wicked way.
Left to me, taking revenge shouldn't be emotional and also, it should not be carried out on a wicked note or with a wicked intention.
Some time ago, when I was to start up my little business, I invited one of my relatives who's very close to me to come and join hands with me in the business, but instead of this guy helping me in the business, the reverse was the case as he ruined all I invested in the business by his own selfish ambition of owing the business to himself alone.
Although, it's so difficult and painful as at the time this incident happened to me as he had hijacked all my customers behind my back, and because of my insensitivity, I didn't know he was on a selfish mission and before I could realize, the deed had been done.

I went round seeking advice from people on what I can do to revenge what this guy had done to me and all the pieces of advice I got from people were to destroy the guy and wiped him out of the surface earth,
But there's this singular advice from a friend, Josh, who advised me not to go wicked with my revenge, but rather made sure I succeed in life so that he would know he has done bad to me.
So, after he had told me this, I heeded to his advice and I began again and this around, with inviting anyone to come and join me and with strong determination and discipline, I was able to make it in the same field the guy had jilted me and when the guy saw me, he was moved and felt guilty for what he had done to me.
He told me he couldn't believe I would be able to survive what he had caused me, but I replied to him that, it's God. He pleaded for forgiveness and I forgave him and ever since then, I have always taken my revenge to God and worked hard to be successful rather than being emotional and going the wicked ways to hunt after my offenders.
In conclusion, mine is not to revenge as revenge is of the lord, so, instead of revenge, I would rather work hard to be successful in life so that my offenders would come to me pleading for forgiveness.
