1 Corinthians 7:1-2 Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
In the above scriptural verse, we are being told by apostle Paul that it's good for a woman not to touch a woman to avoid and that if there's anyone who wants to touch or have sex with another man or woman, then that person should go and get married. Meaning, it's a sin before God Almighty to engage in sexual relationships with each other before marriage.
However, like Bro. Eli said when he started with his teaching, he said circumstances may bring people finances together to sleep together, but not with the intention of having sexual immorality with each other.
Also, Bro. Eli used the event of Mary the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ and Joseph to teach us about how a relationship between a man and woman should be before marriage and this can be seen in the book of Matthew 1:18-19 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. Then Joseph, her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
In conclusion, the bible has made us know and understand that it's not good for a man to touch a woman before marriage as it's been prohibited by God Almighty.
