Greetings!
This life is all about mysteries and there's no way we can live in life without its mystery. One of the mysteries of life is that, life would not give us what we deserve, unless we strive to achieve the best for ourselves.
Having said this, I would like to respond to the topic of the prompt in the Hivereachout community which all about the wrong decision I have taken that later turned out to be a good one.
So, in response to the topic of the prompt, one wrong decision I have made so far in life is the choice of my course in the university. While trying to gain admission into the university, I opted for an education course, though, I knew teachers are not paid well in this part of the word, but because of my low jamb score, I decided to go for the course as I have spent enough time at home, thinking i would change the course to Law as time goes on.
So, when people got to know about my course of study, they were disappointed in me, the same way I was disappointed in myself. In fact, some dissociated themselves from me thinking I had chosen a wrong course as I also knew quite well that I had chosen a wrong course.
However, I started attending classes and didn't even let my wrong decision affect me. Although, it's a rough start for me as family and friends deserted, I just have to move on with my wrong decision of choosing a wrong course, but one thing I realized as time went by was that, I was gradually developing interest in the course and I made sure I invested my full energy into it and this was because my plan of changing to a better course in my 200l was aborted due to the new policy of the school that says, no one students would be allowed to change from the course of study they came in with to another until they are done with the first one.
Although this got to me when the circular was released, at the same time, it gave me more energy to concentrate on the wrong course I started and as a result, I was able to concentrate and lead my class at the end of my program in the university and I received so many awards on the convocation.
As if that's not enough, I was offered a scholarship to study abroad as the overall best student in the department and when I came back, I got an immediate employment with the state government and since then everything has been working well for me through my studied course.
Aside from all my above stated achievements, my influence and impact on most of my students are part of those things that's making me always give thanks to God for turning my wrong decision of choosing a wrong course to a right one. And ever since I knew I have chosen right, I have always made sure I do the right thing at the right time with the course.
I'm inviting @marrying @kingdomzy @blessing33 to join and write this prompt.
This is my entry to the hivereachout weekly prompt.
Thanks for reading.
