Okay this is a fun post!

Let’s get to it… Who knows Haaland? Yes, Erling Haaland! He is a footballer and I think would be regarded soon as one of the greatest striker football has ever seen. What makes Haaland remarkable is his scoring prowess. He scores from every and any angle. Last weekend I watched him bang a brace in the Manchester derby.
I know you’re wondering why I’m talking about Haaland. Well, even with his good scoring ability, he is being criticized for his lack of touches during a game. Haaland doesn’t contribute much but scores.
He scores! and that’s All that matters.
@quduus1 sent a 50 second voice note on Sam’s hangout discord channel complimenting me and saying how difficult it is to comment on a post of mine without wanting to properly analyze and breakdown every segment. Of course Fox is a very good engager and someone that contributes positively to the hangout. It was still surprising for him to use his thick voice at 7:30am to spread good tidings.
Oh if only I slept, I would have woken up to it. Ain’t that right @mathewdaddywah?
That being said I told him joyfully that I appreciate his words. And at that moment i realized, do we really want people to go any length for us, or we just want them to show up?
I carefully read his next words ”So if i reblog and i no read, just know say energy to drop long no dey lol”
I told him and I quote “ You don’t need much touches, just score like haaland”
I sometimes just want comments on my post. I honestly sometimes don’t mind a “nice post” comment. Yes, most people here take it that you didn’t read the post. While some others just crave those long comments to validate or create a satisfactory feeling. One of the newbies i mentor once told me they don’t know how to respond to long comments. It’s funny because i sometimes feel that way, like you put so much effort to reply me, and it would be weird not to reply you or for me to just not give back that energy….
Anyways, Just like Haaland, Just score!
I don’t mind whatever you do to engage. Vote, short comment or long comment, reblog. Doesn’t matter!
I was explaining this to Fox when @nkemakonam89 came after her morning prayers to greet us in the chat room. She greeted the real Sam’s hangout members. (The ones that believe sleep is for the weak) I mean the ones that don’t sleep. Although she added @ozd which is weird because @ozd didn’t pass @mathewdaddywah’s sleeping program. So she joined the conversation and of course wanted to see Abi learn my trick.
I think I’m done… I’d stop here.
