It's Financial Freedom Friday Everybody❗❗❗⠀ ⠀ This week we are moving onto Step 3️⃣ of my 1️⃣2️⃣ Step guide to Financial Freedom💸⠀ ⠀ Last week's Step 2️⃣ was: Create a list of expenses. Budget your spending. ⠀ ⠀ It's important to know how much you can spend and on what. This way all your essentials like rent and food are taken care of first. ⠀ ⠀ It also helps you to not overspend or splurge on unnecessary shit. ⠀ ⠀ So once you have your budget list all written out it's time to move onto Step 3️⃣.⠀ ⠀ Which is: To pay off the plug (credit cards) in full.⠀ ⠀ Being in debt is one of the most detrimental things to your assets. ⠀ ⠀ If you have credit cards or high-interest loans you NEED to be on top of those payments.⠀ ⠀ It’s also very important that you pay ON TIME 🕰️ and IN FULL 💰.⠀ ⠀ Being on point with your payments is so important in building up good credit. ⠀ ⠀ And having good credit is essential in life. You need credit for a whole lot of things.⠀ ⠀ You need good credit to buy/lease a car, to buy/rent a home or apartment. You need good credit for business loans. ⠀ ⠀ Shit, you even need good credit to establish utility services with certain companies. Even employers sometimes will conduct a credit check before hiring you.⠀ ⠀ Pretty much, you need good credit to live comfortably. ⠀ ⠀ And if you’re really serious about gaining Financial Freedom then you 100% need to maintain a good credit score. ⠀ ⠀ For a very long time I didn’t give a shit about my credit. I paid no attention to it and because of that it was absolutely terrible.⠀ Four years ago after I got sober and started getting my life together I started focusing on bringing up my credit score.⠀ ⠀ I knew the type of life I wanted to live. I had a clear vision and goals. ⠀ ⠀ And in order to obtain the life I wished of I knew I had to start with slowly building my credit back up. ⠀ ⠀ Have you ever had to rebuild your credit?
