Saludos amigos creativos y comunidad @diyhub, deseo que tengan un excelente fin de semana en unión de sus seres queridos, me siento muy feliz de compartir un nuevo proyecto de moldeado, tomando como referencia a los personajes de splinterlands, se trata de un una espada que lleva el personaje [Silvershield Knight](https://www.splintercards.com/alpha_core_silvershield-knight), para su elaboración usé como en muchos proyectos anteriores, masa flexible, la espada lleva los colores dorado, gris y el mango lo hice de color marrón; los proyectos de moldeado son de mis favoritos pues es una actividad que disfruto mucho y es relajante, ir moldeando la masa y dando diferentes formas es un proceso creativo que me encanta, con esta espada ya sumaría otra para mi colección, les muestro el proceso de elaboración.

Greetings creative friends and the @diyhub community, I hope you have a great weekend with your loved ones. I'm very happy to share a new molding project, inspired by the Splinterlands characters. It's a sword carried by the character [Silvershield Knight](https://www.splintercards.com/alpha_core_silvershield-knight). As in many previous projects, I used flexible clay to make it. The sword is colored gold and gray, and I made the handle brown. Molding projects are some of my favorites because it's a very enjoyable and relaxing activity. Molding the clay and giving it different shapes is a creative process that I love. With this sword, I'd add another to my collection. I'll show you the process.

**Elaboración**
Para moldear la espada, iniciamos dividiendo la masa en pequeñas porciones, luego añadimos pintura y mezclamos hasta obtener el color deseado. La espada tiene los colores, dorado, gris, marrón y negro. Luego de mezclar las pinturas con la masa, formamos varias bolas, una de cada color que usaremos, las aplanamos y partiendo de las bolas de masa empezamos a moldear, lo primero que haremos será el mango o empuñadura, mango que es de color marrón, hacemos un cilindro y con las estecas aplanamos los extremos.

To mold the sword, we start by dividing the dough into small portions, then add paint and mix until we get the desired color. The sword comes in gold, gray, brown, and black. After mixing the paints with the dough, we form several balls, one of each color we'll use. We flatten them, and starting from the dough balls, we begin to mold. The first thing we'll do is the handle or hilt. The handle is brown. We make a cylinder and flatten the ends with the stakes.

Con la masa dorada, moldeamos una letra C, que nos quede amplia en el centro y con las esquinas afiladas, esta será la base de la hoja de la espada , con las manos y las estacas pulimos las esquinas, también aplanamos la parte de abajo y hacemos un orificio para unirla al mango, agregamos pegamento en ambas piezas y dejamos secar durante veinte minutos o más.
En este paso es importante que las piezas peguen completamente, pues son la base de la espada y soporte de la hoja, las dos tienen un grosor mediano y necesitan tiempo suficiente para pegar.
Using the golden dough, we mold a C shape, leaving it wide in the center and with sharp corners. This will be the base of the sword's blade. Using our hands and the stakes, we smooth the corners. We also flatten the bottom and make a hole to attach it to the handle. We add glue to both pieces and let them dry for twenty minutes or more.
In this step, it's important that the pieces stick together completely, as they are the base of the sword and support for the blade. Both are medium-thick and require sufficient time to stick together.

Para hacer la hoja de la espada, tomamos la masa gris y agregamos tres gotas de pintura plateada, mezclamos muy bien y con esta pintura la hoja tendrá un efecto de brillo reluciente que simula el metal, moldeamos una tira, y con ayuda de las estecas afilamos la punta que nos quede parecida a un triángulo, en la parte de abajo aplanamos también, que nos quede lisa y con una línea recta, revisamos que las esquinas de arriba estén bien afiladas y así está lista la hoja de la espada.

Luego utilizaremos masa negra, a la cual también agregaremos pintura plateada para dar ese efecto de brillo, en la parte de abajo de la hoja de la espada formamos un triángulo, cortamos con la esteca y hacemos uno con la masa negra, agregamos pegamento, unimos el triángulo y dejamos secar.
Para finalizar, con ayuda de las estecas, trazamos una línea recta desde la punta del triángulo negro hasta la parte de arriba de la espada, luego trazamos dos líneas una a cada lado y éstas delimitarán la punta de la hoja, hacemos el trazado de las líneas varias veces para dar profundidad, luego agregamos pegamento en la parte de abajo donde está el triángulo negro unimos a la empuñadura y dejamos secar; para que el proceso de pegado sea más fuerte es mejor abrir un orificio en la pieza dorada y agregar suficiente pegamento, también abrir un orificio en la parte de abajo del triángulo colocarle pegamento y dejamos secar por un largo tiempo, puede ser entre dos y tres días para que compacte y quede bien pegada, así ya está terminada la espada inspirada en Splinterlands.
Then we will use black dough, to which we will also add silver paint to give that shiny effect. At the bottom of the sword blade we form a triangle, cut it with the stake and make one with the black dough, add glue, join the triangle and let it dry.
To finish, with the help of the stakes, we draw a straight line from the tip of the black triangle to the top of the sword, then we draw two lines one on each side and these will delimit the tip of the blade, we do the layout of the lines several times to give depth, then we add glue to the bottom where the black triangle is, join it to the hilt and let it dry; for the gluing process to be stronger it is better to open a hole in the golden piece and add enough glue, also open a hole in the bottom of the triangle, put glue on it and let it dry for a long time, it can be between two and three days so that it compacts and is well glued, thus the sword inspired by Splinterlands is finished.
