On my first visit to Havana, I visited the Christopher Columbus Necropolis. I had heard about this cemetery, but I couldn't imagine how beautiful it would be. Several famous people are buried there, as well as others who may not be as well known but who played an important role in the history of Cuba. Regardless, it is impossible not to recognize the quality of the sculptures found there. It looks like a museum, which sometimes makes you forget that you are in a cemetery. The pictures I am showing you were taken in 2009. I don't know what condition it is in now, but I think it is still worth visiting.
