Helo everyone! Here I am again, and today I was painting birthday card for my sister.
This illustration was made with so much love, just for my sister. I spent hours choosing the colors, carefully outlining each detail, and adding glitter to make the balloons and cake pop — because she deserves something as bright and special as she is!
Every line carries a memory, every color reflects a feeling. From our smile to Simba’s happy little face — I tried to capture the magic of our bond and this special moment in time.
I wanted this drawing to feel like a hug on paper — warm, full of love, and a reminder that no matter how old she gets, she will always be my little sister.
Dear sister, here’s to your dreams ✨, your laughter ☀️, and a future as colorful as this artwork. Never stop being your beautiful, kind, creative self.
I love you more than words (or drawings) could ever say. 🤗 Forever your biggest fan. ❤️
The process of creating this illustration was both emotional and joyful — a quiet journey from blank paper to a drawing full of warmth and life.
It all started with a soft pencil sketch ✏️, laying down the basic composition: two characters, side by side, and our dog Simba joyfully in the middle. Once the lines felt right, I carefully linked the outlines with a fine liner, keeping the expressions gentle and true to life.
Coloring came next — using markers and colored pencils to build up soft skin tones, vibrant clothes, and cheerful balloons. Layer by layer, the drawing came to life. Special attention was given to the little details: glimmers in the eyes, shadows for depth, and Simba’s playful spots.
To finish, a touch of glitter ✨ was added to highlight the cake and balloons — giving the drawing a dreamy, festive feel. The entire piece took several hours, filled with quiet focus, love, and the wish to make something truly personal.
It’s not just a drawing — it’s a memory carefully crafted by hand, one line, one color, one emotion at a time.
I hope you like it! 🌸
