A night in Mataro

Mataro, 30km north of Barcelona, is the home town of FC Barcelona player Yamine Lamal. An 18 year old player who has already broken several records in the futball sport as being the youngest player to score a goal in the Eurocup.

I've spent the night at Yamine hometown not for a great reason, I have been at the hospital room next to my mon recovering from the broken leg surgery. But later today we have the first "El Clasico" match of the season in Madrid and no matter what the result is, I am sure it will be a nice espectacle.

I was going over the news and of course I stumbled upon some that talked about tonight's game and the story of Yamine, how he comes from a family of african inmigrants and how he started playing in his neigbourhood park.

One of the things I love from this young player is his celebration when he scores. He is already one of the best payed players of the world after renewing his contract with FC Barcelona but he shows the last digits of his hometown neigbourhood zip code digits for everyone to see he does not forget where he comes from.

Here' a little video he posted on his instagram today, just hours before the match starts. In a recent interview he was asked if he felt fear when playing in big important stadiums as the one he will be playing tonight. He just answered, "I left the fear in the park in Mataro when I was a kid"
