Welcome to my blog. I am super excited to participate in this contest.
If i could talk to my younger self, i wll first applaud my younger self because she has been through enough. My younger self was tired of being misunderstood, being bullied in the school and tired of being treated like a threat.
My younger self growing up was a shy and a quiet child, infact she is an introvert. She prefers to be in her own space rather than being the centre of attention. It was not easy for her to speak up for herself, and she often let things slide just to avoid confrontation. But as reserved my younger self was, there was a side of her that would rise when pushed too far. I remember the very first and last fight my younger self fought just to protect herself from a bully, it was terrible that the ear that had of it, instead of them to be angry at her, they praised her for being able to stand for herself. That is one fact about my younger self. When she feel conered or taken for granted, she will bite back and she will bite hard. It wasn't about anger, but about drawing a line and setting limits.

My younger self never ask to be in a competition, she only wanted to be herself and focused on herself. But for some reasons people that she considered friends saw her as a competition and wanted to bring her down. They will smile in her face, but work very hard behind her back to tarnish her name. And that act followed her to her adult hood. The weight of being constantly treated like a rival, made her to whish she never had friends, that she's better off alone. And to be sincere, being alone, really did made her feel better than being misunderstood.
Looking back now, i understand my younger self better. I see strenght, i see persistence, i see a girl that did not fight to be seen, i see a girl that knows that she was enough even when people refused to see it, i see a girl that is working so hard to better herself.
But through this write-up, i am telling my younger self. You are not the problem. You are not trying to outshine anyone. You are not competing with anyone. You don't need a crowd to feel worthy. You are always enough. May be, just maybe your light was so bright that made others to question theirs. Thank you for being you.
This is my take on this week contest, thanks to you all for stopping by my blog.
