It was a successful and productive Monday for me. We had planned to meet at one factory in my area. On getting there, our local guard @beauty197 said that she is not comfortable with the place, that the place did not meet up with her expectation. So we decide to change location. We quickly came up with another spot nearby.
Before that day, i have told her about a gym house where i always work out. Since we are passing by that road, i showed her the gym house and ask her if we can stopby. As a deligent Hiver who is good at what she is doing, agreed. Immediately we stopby.
So when we got there, we meet the manager who was very busy but managed to give us a few minutes of his time. @beauty197 introduce us and share our purpose for stopping by. The manager loved the idea and directed us to the gym instructor who showed more interest and wanted to learn more but he was also in a haste as a motorcycle was waiting for him to take him to where he wanted to go. So he collected @beauty197 contact for further details and agreed on a meet up on Monday.
On our way out, i meet one of my gym friend that ask me why i was not at the gym, i quickly introduce her to Hive and she agreed to be available on Monday for the meet up.
After that we proceeded to our location of the day. There the mentorship training began. @beauty197 started by appreciateing us for our efforts, and passion for the business. She confessed that it is because of our passion for the business that motivates her to always make sacrifices to come and see us. It was an encouragement to us and for her too. After the encouragement, she started the training proper.
She taught us how we can add tags, And the importance of using the right tags in a post and we can find tags. she emphasis on making a meaningful comments in people's post and that we should never forget to read each community rules.
We also learn about weekly contest and how we can participate weekly.she also help us to download and register on discord, then we joined some communities on discord. We also learn how to comment on discord and also see weekly contest in some communities.
We also learn how to swap our HBD to HIVE and the importance of staking our HIVE. This is how i swap my HBD to HIVE. I opened my keychain and press the last icon by my right hand side.
Then it opened and i click on swap icon and imputed my 2 HBD that i want to swap
Then it amounted to 13. 19 HIVE then i click on swap icon to swap to HIVE then i conformed my transaction
The training was over, and refreshments follows. I ordered this assorted pepper soup because it was my first meal of the day and stepped it down with a bottle of water, and it was very delicious and well prepared.
I was super excited learning new things, which i never take the time and efforts of @beauty197 for granted. I will continue to tell people about HIVE and continue to do my best in exploring on HIVE. Thanks to @beauty197 for making that training a pleasurable one and thanks to @ozibaby for alway staying around to support.
