Today, I'd like to continue telling you about my incredible trip to Rancho Caruachi, where the Team Jeep meeting was held. It was fascinating to see how people from different parts of Venezuela traveled for this event.
¡Hola, amigos viajeros de Hive Blog! Un saludo especial a la gran comunidad de Worldmappin. Espero que estén disfrutando de paisajes maravillosos y creando recuerdos inolvidables. Hoy quiero continuar contándoles sobre mi increíble viaje al Rancho Caruachi, donde se celebró el encuentro Team Jeep. Fue fascinante ver cómo personas de toda Venezuela se trasladaron para este evento.
On that first day of camping, my dad and I took a tour of the surroundings and realized that this beautiful place has bathrooms with showers and electricity. It also has a beautiful lake where my dad took the opportunity to take a great dip.
El primer día, mi papá y yo exploramos los alrededores del campamento. Nos dimos cuenta de que este hermoso lugar cuenta con baños, duchas y electricidad. Además, tiene un lago precioso donde mi papá aprovechó para darse un buen chapuzón.
Afterward, we prepared breakfast in pure camping style, making some delicious arepitas with chicken salad.
Luego, preparamos el desayuno al más puro estilo campista: unas deliciosas arepitas con ensalada de pollo. ¡Un verdadero manjar!
We then got ready to go on another adventure. The event organizer first took the entire caravan to a beautiful place called "the asphalt beach." The surprising thing about this place is that it's a freshwater beach with a road in the middle where vehicles can pass. I should clarify that these are all trails for off-road vehicles. Several participants, including my dad, decided to cross.After enjoying this beautiful place, where the landscape looked like something out of a Studio Ghibli.
Después de desayunar, nos alistamos para la aventura. El organizador del evento nos guió en caravana a una playa muy particular, conocida como "la playa de asfalto". Lo sorprendente es que es una playa de agua dulce que tiene una carretera en el medio, perfecta para vehículos rústicos. Varios participantes, incluyendo a mi papá, se atrevieron a cruzarla. El paisaje era tan impresionante que parecía sacado de una película de Studio Ghibli.
We went to the "green paths," the place where the real 4x4 adventure would begin. A little bit of everything happened to us there. My dad got stuck in a lagoon, and the car wouldn't turn on. We were towed by another vehicle, but the driver went so fast that the car's bumper broke. In the end, a million things happened, but all of that is part of the adventure.
A continuación, nos dirigimos a los "caminitos verdes", donde comenzó la verdadera travesía 4x4. Allí nos pasó de todo. En una laguna, nuestro carro se quedó atascado y se apagó el motor. Un conductor nos remolcó, pero lo hizo tan rápido que reventó el parachoques del carro. A pesar de los contratiempos, todo eso es parte de la aventura.
After getting out of there, we decided to go to the "Elephant Stone," one of the biggest challenges in these beautiful landscapes because of its steep descent. Luckily, and given everything that had happened to us, my dad was sensible and didn't attempt this great challenge. Although, I won't lie, he wanted to try it.
Después de salir de allí, fuimos a la "Piedra del Elefante", uno de los mayores desafíos del lugar por la inclinación que tiene. Por suerte, y a causa de todo lo que nos había pasado, mi papá fue sensato y no se arriesgó a hacer el descenso, aunque no les voy a negar que quiso intentarlo.
After so many adventures in a single day, we finally returned to the camp to rest.
