Since I was out of town traveling last week with my friends I felt like I needed to take my daughter on a Staycation as well. It was a great timing that my dear friend Leslie invited us over for an overnight stay at Cebu Parklane Hotel.
My daughter was very happy about it since she can go practice her swimming skills. We bought some snacks before we checked in so we can save a little. It was supposedly for my friend's Aunt that was booked by her cousin but she inputted the wrong dates so she have to give it to someone who's staying here in Cebu.
Making use of this opportunity to relax, Leslie invited us over to have fun even if just for one night stay. We swim our hearts out and have some fun having our photos taken and doing some tiktok dance.
Swimming with my daughter and playing games with her in the pool made our staycation more memorable. She really had a blast spending time with me and cuddling in the soft bed during night time as we're about to sleep. She told me she got a good sleep because of the soft mattress and the comforter. I'm pretty glad I was able to make her weekend fun and enjoyable. This staycation made us more closer with each other and I'm pretty glad that I can spend time alone with her after having a blast with my friends last weekend. I'm just really grateful that I can balance my time well being a single mom. I know I'm so lucky to have my family around who loves my daughter. I can leave her without having to worry everytime I have an out of town trip.
Anyways, for this staycation I just want to yhank my friend Leslie for making this happen too. :) Until then!
