Devil May Cry Guide – Part 2

Hey guys from Hive Gaming, I hope you are all doing great. I’m back with more of my Devil May Cry guide, this time I will tell you how to complete the second and third mission which has the first boss of the game, so without further ado let's begin.

As soon as you take control of Dante, just go through the door to the right of the corridor; in this new room, you will find a statue to purchase items and several tables that, when broken, will give you a blue orb fragment and some red orbs. Return to the corridor and cross it; on the left of this path you will see a door that you can't open, so ignore it for now.

When you reach the end you will find Alastor nailed to the wall, this sword is powerful. After watching the shocking scene of Dante being impaled. Just walk through the brown door to the left.

This library hides a few surprises. The table below holds several red orbs and if you smash the one above you will get a shotgun. Upstairs there is a macabre painting that has a key embedded in it, pick it up so you can open that door that is in the hallway you went through to get to the library.

In the courtyard you just arrived at, several puppet demons are waiting for you hanging around, so you know, get rid of them. Then, climb on the balconies and go through the door on the left side.

You will be now in a small chapel that hides a trap door in the floor. To discover it you just have to hit several times the tomb next to the statue of the angel. Stand on top of the trapdoor, open it and you will fall to the lower floor. Here pick up the object that is nailed to the wall mural, that way the revolving door will move allowing you to reach the library again.

When you try to access the hallway again, the door will be blocked and you will have to face two demons with scissors. When you defeat them, you will be able to leave the library, and you will see a bunch of bugs that are easy to crush, or you can shoot them. Then, insert the object right where Alastor was nailed to finish this mission.

At the start of the third mission, you will be locked inside a huge chapel. Head towards the altar and examine it so that a lightning bolt emerges from a floating piece that unlocks the brown door. On the outside, advance across the bridge to the other side where more red orbs and an inscription await you to read.

Go back to the chapel but halfway there, lightning will strike from the sky and the bridge will shatter and Dante will fall into the sea. Keep an eye on the health bar because it gradually drops when you are underwater.

Head to the purple circle on the ground to reveal six demon skulls. These enemies are not very dangerous unless you get too close. One shot with the shotgun at the right distance and they're history. When you kill them all, return to the circle to be teleported to the other side of the bridge.

Enter the chapel and pick up the floating object on the altar to make the terrible giant scorpion appear for the first time.

This boss has quite a few damaging attacks. His specialty is fire: he can make jets of rising lava erupt from the ground and shoot explosive balls of magma out of his mouth. He also makes tremendous jumps to try to crush Dante and his pincers and tail won't stay still for a moment, so take advantage of the structure of the room to protect yourself behind the columns of the explosive balls.

Despite the agility with which he moves, his size represents a handicap, and if you corner him, he will become an easy target. Hit him with Alastor in his head and chest, and you will see how his energy bar drops dizzily.

When you defeat him, the scorpion will flee like a coward and the chapel will be unlocked; now just go through the blue door to finish the mission.

Since the next mission is a bit longer, I preferred to leave it for the next post because I didn't want to extend too much in this one. Anyway, thank you very much for reading and supporting me if you found this content interesting.
