Hello music lovers. It's me, @saydie, with some Three Tune Tuesday post after a while. I've been doing lots of outside activities these days, so my time to write fluctuates a lot, but what motivates me to write this time was that, few days from now, I am going to [Dutdutan Tattoo Convention 2025 ](https://www.facebook.com/dutdutan). While it was a tattoo convention, there will also be many guest bands that will perform in the event, and one of them was **Skindred**, whose songs fall under the heavy metal, reggae rock, and nu metal categories and have been around since 1998. And I just want to share some of the songs that I really liked listening to from this band and want to see them perform live.

This song will be almost 18 years old from the date that it was released, but still remains one of their best masterpiece in my opinion by mixing reggae and metal, which are two different genres that one would not imagine to sound good together. Anyways, the song talks about how people are trapped in a never-ending cycle of competition for material success, which only leads to disappointment and emptiness.

On the other hand, this song was just released about 2 years ago, and it really got me hooked by how energetic and catchy the song is, and rightfully falls in my *"Fun Metal Thing"* track list. The lyrics of the song are kind of ambiguous, but the song may be about a call to rebellion, given how the band wrote their previous songs.

This is another classic song from the band, which urges people to stand up for the things that they believe in and not to be swayed by others' opinions. With everything around our society these days, like censorship and misinformation, this song hits me now more than ever.
