Please write a blog on Hive about your local temple and the stories related to it. This is a small contest intended to discover the village temples of India.
Today, I saw a video about a famous temple in my state, and the main priest was talking about the deity, but a lot of people commented below that he was wrong and that local culture told otherwise. So, it left me wondering who was right. Was it the local people who knew the culture, or the main priest who did not belong there?
Stories related to village temples are plenty, and one cannot write about all of them in a single blog. So, I decided to request members of the India United channel to attempt to write about their local temple as part of a contest.

Please make sure to include original pictures and text instead of using AI. Original pictures will help the reader to understand the background of the story.
