Querida comunidad de Hive,
Nos complace presentarnos oficialmente y, al mismo tiempo, aclarar algunos malentendidos que han surgido respecto al funcionamiento de nuestra academia, especialmente en relación con las transferencias y acuerdos que mantenemos con determinados artistas, los cuales se ven abiertamente en los memos públicos.
Este texto tiene doble propósito:
1- Presentar quiénes somos y cómo trabajamos (algo que reconocemos que si hubieramos hecho antes hoy no seríamos objeto de análisis por parte de los encargados del orden en Hive, luego de los recientes problemas de fraude en Vibes)
2- Dejar constancia pública y transparente en la blockchain sobre el funcionamiento real de nuestras suscripciones, reafirmando asi, nuestro compromiso con la ética, la educación y la comunidad artística en Hive.
Dear Hive Community,
We are pleased to officially introduce ourselves and, at the same time, clarify some misunderstandings that have arisen regarding the operation of our academy, especially in relation to the transfers and agreements we have with certain artists, which are openly discussed in public memos.
This text has a dual purpose:
1- To introduce ourselves and how we work (something we recognize that if we had done so earlier, we wouldn't be under scrutiny by Hive's moderators today, following the recent fraud issues at Vibes).
2- To provide a public and transparent record on the blockchain of how our subscriptions actually work, thus reaffirming our commitment to ethics, education, and the artistic community on Hive.
¿Quiénes somos?
"SBS ART WEB3 ACADEMY" es una academia independiente fundada y dirigida por @suanetmusic cantante, compositora y emprendedora, con más de 20 años de trayectoria artistica en Cuba. Nacimos para empoderar a artistas independientes y acompañarlos en su transición hacia la Web3, enseñándoles a monetizar su arte de forma justa, ética y sostenible usando herramientas descentralizadas como Hive.
En nuestros incios, el equipo se conformaba por 2 personas además de Suanet, los cuales son @nony y @theinfiltred quienes aportaron sus conocimientos para la creación de los cursos que formarían a nuestros artistas. Actualmente solo trabajan activamente Suanet y Jussel (nony) quienes cada día guian a nuestros artistas en todo su proceso creativo y de aprendizaje sobre web3.
Who are we?
"SBS ART WEB3 ACADEMY" is an independent academy founded and directed by @suanetmusic, a singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of artistic experience in Cuba. We were created to empower independent artists and support them in their transition to Web3, teaching them how to monetize their art fairly, ethically, and sustainably using decentralized tools like Hive.
In our early days, the team consisted of two people besides Suanet: @nony and @theinfiltred, who contributed their expertise to the creation of the courses that would train our artists. Currently, only Suanet and Jussel (nony) actively work at the academy, guiding our artists daily throughout their creative and learning process regarding Web3.
¿Qué hacemos?
Formamos artistas con mentalidad Web3: les enseñamos a crear, publicar y monetizar su contenido en la blockchain, comprendiendo proyectos, comunidades y herramientas del ecosistema Hive y otras plataformas web3 como Audius, pero nuestro mayor enfoque se basa en Hive, ya que creemos en la sostenibilidad y equidad de esta blockchain. Nuestro enfoque es educación personalizada y acompañamiento práctico para que el artista pueda aplicar lo aprendido desde el primer día y lo hacemos a través de modalidades de formación
Contamos con dos modalidades pensadas según las necesidades y posibilidades de cada artista:
1️⃣ Suscripción Gratuita (limitada)
Creada para artistas que desean aprender sobre Web3/Hive pero no cuentan con recursos para pagar un curso completo.
Es gratuita en el momento de entrada (no hay costo para acceder ni para comenzar a formarse).
Durante un periodo limitado y con cupo restringido (para garantizar calidad), la academia administra la cuenta del artista y le ofrece mentoría, soporte técnico y estrategia de contenido.
A cambio, y solo dentro de esta modalidad formativa, el artista acuerda abonar un porcentaje de sus ganancias durante el periodo de aprendizaje. Estas comisiones son voluntarias, documentadas en nuestro contrato y lo más importante, es temporal.
Al finalizar el contrato: el artista obtiene el control total de su cuenta, recibe toda la documentación y el conocimiento adquirido para gestionar su carrera de forma independiente, y por supuesto, ya cuenta con el conocimiento adquirido durante el tiempo de trabajo en conjunto, adiestrando su mentalidad a todo lo nuevo que se encuentra todo artista (y no solo los artistas) al iniciar en web3, que sabemos no es poco y sin un buen asesoramiento se comenten varios errores.
Por esta modalidad han pasado más de 40 artistas, demostrando su viabilidad y escalabilidad. Aclaramos que antes de iniciar con esta suscripción investigamos para asegurarnos de que no fueramos en contra de las reglas de la comunidad de Hive.
2️⃣ Suscripción Paga
Para artistas que desean avance rápido e independencia.
Incluye formación completa, material exclusivo, mentorías privadas y estrategia personalizada.
En esta modalidad, el artista mantiene el control total de su cuenta y no comparte comisiones con la academia.

Tenemos tres suscripciones pagas con precios diferentes que se ajustan a todo tipo de bolsillo.
👉 Importante distinguir: En la suscripción gratuita, los artistas colaboran con un pequeño porcentaje de sus recompensas. En la suscripción paga, los artistas pagan por su curso completo y manejan sus cuentas por sí mismos, con acceso directo a mentorías, materiales exclusivos y asesoramiento personalizado.
Es decir: Nunca cobramos por un curso y, al mismo tiempo, comisiones. Las comisiones solo aplican dentro de la suscripción gratuita, y por un tiempo limitado firmado en el contrato tanto por los artistas como por la academia.
What do we do?
We train artists with a Web3 mindset: we teach them how to create, publish, and monetize their content on the blockchain, understanding projects, communities, and tools within the Hive ecosystem and other Web3 platforms like Audius. However, our primary focus is on Hive, as we believe in the sustainability and fairness of this blockchain. Our approach is personalized education and practical support so that artists can apply what they learn from day one. We do this through two training options.
We offer two options designed to meet the needs and possibilities of each artist:
1️⃣ Free Subscription (limited)
Designed for artists who want to learn about Web3/Hive but don't have the resources to pay for a full course.
It's free upon entry (there's no cost to access or begin training).
For a limited time and with restricted enrollment (to ensure quality), the academy manages the artist's account and offers mentorship, technical support, and content strategy.
In exchange, and only within this training model, the artist agrees to pay a percentage of their earnings during the learning period. These commissions are voluntary, documented in our contract, and most importantly, temporary.
At the end of the contract: the artist gains full control of their account, receives all the documentation and knowledge acquired to manage their career independently, and of course, already has the knowledge gained during our collaborative work, training their mindset to handle all the new challenges that every artist (and not only artists) encounters when starting out on web3, which we know is significant, and without proper guidance, many mistakes can be made.
More than 40 artists have participated in this model, demonstrating its viability and scalability. We want to clarify that before launching this subscription, we researched it to ensure we weren't violating Hive's community guidelines.
2️⃣ Paid Subscription
For artists who want rapid advancement and independence.
Includes comprehensive training, exclusive materials, private mentoring, and a personalized strategy.
In this model, the artist maintains full control of their account and does not share commissions with the academy.
We have three paid subscriptions with different prices to suit all budgets.
👉 Important distinction: In the free subscription, artists contribute a small percentage of their rewards. In the paid subscription, artists pay for their entire course and manage their accounts themselves, with direct access to mentorship, exclusive materials, and personalized guidance.
In other words: We never charge for a course and, at the same time, commissions. Commissions only apply within the free subscription and for a limited time, as stipulated in the contract signed by both the artists and the academy.
¿Por qué existe un contrato de trabajo en la Suscripción Gratuita?
El contrato de colaboración no se refiere a un empleo tradicional, es solo una herramienta de orden, transparencia y protección que:
Define funciones del artista y de la academia durante el proceso formativo.
Establece cláusulas de finalización voluntaria.
Protege la correcta gestión de las recompensas generadas.
Su propósito es evitar malentendidos y asegurar que ambas partes trabajen con claridad y responsabilidad.
Why is there a work agreement in the Free Subscription?
The collaboration agreement is not a traditional employment contract; it is simply a tool for organization, transparency, and protection that:
Defines the roles of the artist and the academy during the training process.
Establishes clauses for voluntary termination.
Protects the proper management of the rewards generated.
Its purpose is to prevent misunderstandings and ensure that both parties work with clarity and responsibility.
Comisiones, transferencias y memos públicos
Las comisiones dentro de la suscripción gratuita no son cobros ocultos ni prácticas coercitivas: son acuerdos voluntarios para sostener un servicio que, de otro modo, no sería viable para artistas sin recursos que desean formarse con nosotros, aun y cuando existen comunidades que brindan apoyo y canales con información gratuita sobre Hive.
Nuestras transferencias en la blockchain incluyen memos con palabras como “Vibes”, “Music”, “Vlog” o “Refers”. Esos memos son etiquetas internas para identificar el origen y propósito de cada pago dentro de la academia. Aclaramos que el uso de esos identificadores NO implica relación comercial ni técnica con el proyecto Vibes, ni participación en prácticas de venta de votos, como se piensa.
Nos apoyamos en las herramientas públicas de Hive por transparencia y trazabilidad; todo está documentado y verificable en la cadena. Como dijimos antes: una estafa no se hace pública. Nuestras transferencias son claras y obvias, ya que, no necesitamos ocultarnos.
Fees, Transfers, and Public Memos
The fees within the free subscription are not hidden charges or coercive practices: they are voluntary agreements to sustain a service that would otherwise be unfeasible for artists without resources who wish to train with us, even though there are communities that provide support and channels with free information about Hive.
Our blockchain transfers include memos with words like “Vibes,” “Music,” “Vlog,” or “Refers.” These memos are internal labels to identify the origin and purpose of each payment within the academy. We clarify that the use of these identifiers does NOT imply a commercial or technical relationship with the Vibes project, nor participation in vote-buying practices, as some may believe.
We rely on Hive's public tools for transparency and traceability; everything is documented and verifiable on the blockchain. As we said before: a scam doesn't go public. Our transfers are clear and obvious because we have no need to hide.
Nuestro compromiso
Desde nuestros inicios, SBS ART WEB3 ACADEMY ha tenido un propósito claro: educar, guiar y empoderar a artistas independientes para que puedan monetizar su arte en Web3 de forma ética y sostenible. Nunca hemos participado en sistemas de manipulación de votos ni en prácticas contrarias a los valores de Hive. Al contrario: hemos trabajado para democratizar el acceso al conocimiento y abrir oportunidades reales a creadores que desean generar ingresos extras con su arte pero que necesitan una guía constante porque no entienden qué es web3 ni criptomonedas.
Nuestros pilares: Educar con ética.
Acompañar con responsabilidad.
Promover la independencia creativa y económica.
Queremos ser ese puente entre los artistas y la web3, no solo en plataformas como Hive sino también en todas aquellas que brinden una oportunidad real a los artistas de generar ingresos sin depender de las irreales cifras de seguidores y reproducciones que se necesitan en las plataformas tradicionales para poder generar regalías.
Nuestra meta es ayudar a 5,000 artistas a incorporarse a la Web3, derribando el miedo y la desconfianza que aún existen en torno a las criptomonedas.

Since our inception, SBS ART WEB3 ACADEMY has had a clear purpose: to educate, guide, and empower independent artists so they can monetize their art on Web3 ethically and sustainably. We have never participated in vote manipulation schemes or practices contrary to Hive's values. On the contrary, we have worked to democratize access to knowledge and open real opportunities for creators who want to generate extra income with their art but need ongoing guidance because they don't understand Web3 or cryptocurrencies.
