Because of everyone's generosity, we are able to support three students: Myke, Carlo and Mark. All of them will receive roughly $20 USD for every month for the entire school year. Now, we felt it's a good time to officially add another student in our roster.
This new addition is a bit more momentous since we are welcoming our first ever @scholarsph student who's also a Steemian.

Kinit shares a bit about himself and his main aspiration - to uplift his family's quality of life.
Life has been tough for me for I am just a simple guy who came from a small town and a big family. My mother is a public school teacher and my father is a freelance worker. We're 6 children in all and I'm the 4th child from the eldest, 5 boys and 1 girl.
No one had ever finished college yet in our family that's why I'm doing my very best to succeed at school and help them. I want to save my family from the life of poverty and for them to experience the life that I have always wanted them to have.
I've known Kinit only for a brief while but his resilience and dedication really shines through. The kid's got immense passion for art and his dreams.
It has always been in my heart that I want to be named as architect Kenneth Ligaray. Yes, because this is my dream, the dream that I've always wanted to achieve ever since I started to discover my passion in art. There were a lot of times that I went through the downfalls of my life and was crushed to the ground as if I was carrying everything in my shoulders. But I was born with a strong belief that I can be someone someday. I am a dreamer with a lot of dreams waiting to be caught.
Kinit's Steemit Story
I'm very excited to finally have a Steemian scholar. Since it won't only be us, the people behind @scholarsph , who'd be able to get to know the student deeply. Now, everyone on the platform could see his growth.
Kinit's Steemit username is @ligarayk. His blog truly shows his promise as an artist and his past works are quite exceptional. And Steemit's biggest curation guild agrees. So far, he had already received seven Curie votes, six of which are for art content.

Kinit as our new scholar
Prior to being inducted as an official sponsored student, he has already received some level of provision from one of the @scholasrph team members. The early support gave Kinit a chance to purchase good-quality tools for his drawing classes. From hereon, consistent financial support would given to Kinit through the remaining months of the school year.

How to Support the Program
- Upvote @scholarsph blogs. We also encourage you to add @scholarsph on your SteemAuto.com fanbase to enable auto-upvote to our blogs. Rest assured that we won't be draining your voting power since our planned posting would only be 1x-3x a week.
- Transfer Steem or SBD amounts to @scholarsph Steem account. All funds will be distributed to the students including accumulated Steem Power.
- Pledge a monthly support of any amount for any sponsored student. Pledgers will have the option to choose any potential scholar from the shortlist.
