Time to write a positive post for a change. Sometimes it's good to refocus away from the negatives.

I like laughing. I like stand-up comedy. I like intelligent humor. Unsurprisingly, I like George Carlin! His brand of humor fits all of my criteria for a good ol' time. Even though I may not necessarily agree with his views, he presents them in such a hilariously logical way that I can't help but nod along and laugh. Additionally, I'm not a fan of using profanity as a punchline, but George Carlin uses profanity as a tool to make fun of the English language, which I love. He is a very intelligent comedian and definitely among my favorites.
Yesterday, I was watching one of his stand-up specials ("You Are All Diseased") with my Mother. As he kept on rolling with the jokes, I just laughing more and more, and after one particularly vulgar joke, I just exploded and could not stop laughing for 3 or 4 straight minutes. My eyes were tearing from the laughter!

It's not often that I find myself laughing over the past few years, so this was a very nice experience, especially sitting alongside my Mother, who was also laughing (partially because she saw how I couldn't stop laughing).
Joe Bless George Carlin and comedy (for those who know, you'll understand). Years after his passing, he's still bringing immense laughter into households.

In other positive news, I am learning to cook some stir-fry seasoned vegetables under my Mother's supervision, and have been more active in helping her out with certain important tasks, simply with the goal of lightening her load, and even bought her a small gift. She more than deserves it. I cannot give her enough.
After last week's couple of bad days, I did fall off some of my routines that I had on the accountability lists, so I intend on bringing those back very shortly (quite literally within 1-2 days). Things will continue to improve.
So that's all for today. Hopefully I can bring some more purely positive posts like this in the near future.
