Not 100% success, but I did hit most of the items on my list yesterday. I still call that a success!

- Get off the internet by 5:00 p.m. ✓
- Go to sleep by 12:30 a.m. X
- Watch a TV show or movie with my family ✓
The only thing I did not manage was going to sleep by 12:30 a.m. We finished watching a wonderful movie (The Sunshine Boys) at around 2 a.m. I daresay it was worth it because it was a genuinely smart, hilarious movie. George Burns is a legend, but Walter Matthau even stole some scenes from him. Their scenes together were brilliant.
So I did get off the internet at 5 p.m., finished helping with insurance-related stuff, and did my meditation, stretching, and exercise by around 7:30 p.m.
Meditation was a bit challenging at the beginning since I hadn't done it for over a week, but I got into the groove within a few minutes. Stretching was surprisingly not painful yesterday... maybe I'm regaining my flexibility? Exercise was generally great, but I limited my lower body to 1 set because I felt a little discomfort in my knee on the last 1 or 2 repetitions. I have no intention of creating more long-term damage!
I ended up drawing for a longer period of time than I had intended, which is a significant reason that we began watching the movie late. It was definitely rather fun though. I recognized my errors and, for once, didn't put myself down when doing so. I simply said, "easily fixed," erased, and improved. Proportions are tough to figure out by eye (there's a method that eliminates the guesswork, but I'm trying to train my eye to capture them correctly).
Today I ended up waking up later than intended for rather obvious reasons. I haven't gotten much of anything accomplished aside from daily household tasks. I spent too much time on my phone (although a good portion of it was editing a photograph for a WhatsApp group, just for kicks and giggles).
Moving forward, here is today's accountability list:
- Stay on my phone for less than 1 hour X
- Exercise

- Get off the internet by 3:30 p.m.
- Go to sleep by 12:30 a.m.
- Watch a TV show or movie with my family
Today I am insistent on 2 things: going to search for new glasses and going to sleep by 12:30 a.m. If nothing else, those items are my main goals. I'm getting off the internet earlier so that I can go search for new glasses, so that's going to be a bonus accomplishment. Plus, this will leave me more time to accomplish my other tasks. If one gets done, so can the rest!
