"THE SUN ALWAYS SHINES AFTER EVERY STORM" - UNKNOWN
Hello to all Hivers around the world!
Sending you all a warm wishes, a good health, and a positive energy wherever you may be.
I’m back once again to share a glimpse of our life after facing two powerful typhoons that recently hit the Philippines.
This morning, as I woke up,The sun is shining beautifully after an entire week of darkness and storms. Its golden rays broke through the clouds, offering hope to everyone affected by the devastating typhoons Nando and Ompong. But traces of the storm remains, the landslides, the floods, and the damaged crops are all around.
It felt as if the sun was reminding us that Even if we’ve been knocked down by disaster or typhoons, we Filipinos will always find the strength to rise again. Even after going through a dark and terrifying experience, there is always a light and hope. Even if we and our houses are submerged in floodwaters, we will eventually rise above it.
This morning, I went outside to check on the crops in our backyard.
I saw that our onion leeks had been knocked down and flattened by the strong winds. Thankfully, the carrots planted below were still in good condition.
When I visited our cabbage those that were left from the previous harvest, it was heartbreaking to see them looking so worn out. Their leaves had wilted, as if they were completely exhausted. Fortunately, some heads of cabbage survived and can still be harvested, even if only few were left.
We also went ahead and continue planting cabbage. Thankfully, we didn't plant before the typhoon comes otherwise, everything would have been destroyed. My nephew and my aunt help me to plant and hopefully we will finish it today and praying that no more typhoons come.
Still, despite everything that happened especially to us farmers we must stay positive, pray and have faith to God because that’s the only way we can rise again.
We need to keep going, for the sake of our loved ones. At the end of the day, no one else will help us but ourselves.
This sunshine is a gentle reminder that there is always hope, no matter what we've been through. What truly matters is that we and our families are safe and all Thanks to God.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog I truly appreciate it. I hope you’re all safe and doing well too, wherever you may be.
Always Keep smiling!
Mabuhay!
