That morning, after two balls of mochi slid smoothly into my stomach, I felt the world look different. Maybe it was the effect of the sugar, or maybe it was because my stomach started to hold an impromptu concert. I don't know. What's certain is, when I stepped outside, my eyes caught a sight that made my heart flutter.

Across the street, the dome of the mosque sparkled in the morning sun, white clouds, and blue sky. My hand reflexively reached for my phone. A moment like this shouldn't pass me by, I thought. Oh well, might as well. Click!

Not satisfied with one miracle, my eyes then fell on a stalk of red frangipani in a pot. Ah, this flower that is often called "grave decoration" can actually look so charming too. Glowing red, like a small fire dancing in the wind.

"Now, it's your turn," I muttered to the frangipani, picking up my phone again. But right at that moment, my stomach growled loudly. The mochi duo apparently didn't want to lose to the beauty of the morning.

What was an ordinary morning has turned into a hilarious mini adventure.

What is certain is that this morning I got three things: a photo of a mosque, a photo of mochi, a photo of a red frangipani and... well, the photography experience turned out to be quite a challenging combination this morning.
