This is one anime whose second season caught my attention this year. Still I've been over packed this year so anime hasn't really been top priority on most days and when it was, I already had a whole batch of others that new interests were just added to the never ending list๐
I think every anime fan knows how that feels...
Thankfully though, I have a sister who has more time than me and is interested in these romcom type of anime's so occasionally I come across them on my laptop and decide to watch before I delete.
Toilet Bound Hanako
Plot
Nene is a single highschool girl who wishes to have a boyfriend. Following the school rumors, she summons the toilet wish-granting ghost Hanako to make her wish come true. Hanako turns out to be the 7th wonder and gatekeeper between the supernatural and physical realms. This wish granting didn't go entirely as planned and Nene finds her life in danger. To save her, Hanako makes her his assistant.

Now this is a great anime, actually looks like something that is really funny and it is interesting.
Yet my experience while watching it was diminished, due to the fact that my sister downloaded it in English Dub๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
Now I'm an original anime watcher, one who'll always stand for the sub and Japanese because I feel the creators when changing it anime looks for the voice actors that can match the voices the characters would make the best.
Japanese characters should be speaking Japanese, yet my sister doesn't share that sentimentality and it's tiresome ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
After watching the first episode and finding out that it's dub. I just tried my best to watch the rest, at sometimes it wasn't noticeable at other times it was glaring.
Yet with the language distaste, the anime was still very enjoyable.

First thing is the storyline and plot progression.
I love the way they introduced new characters and we learned more about them.
The introduction of the mysteries of the school and their stories too.
Then the art style is something special. I love the highlights and the lining that somehow gives more depth. The animators made use of their shadows and shades well, and it shows

Then I love the hinting of Hanako's past, that building of tension is something that is done very nicely. And the plot with his evil twin!!
Just now realizing how cringe this sounds๐ญ๐๐
Regardless this is a very dope show that I urge everyone to check out!!
I've only watched season 1 though, would check season 2 in Japanese dub and English sub so I can fully enjoy the show๐๐
