Life is Truly Amazing

Howdy people of this amazing community. How are you today? I hope everyone is fine. This is my first time writing into this incredible community. And today I will be sharing with you about the amazing ways of life and becoming a better individual.  >**A light in the darkness** I came from a family of farmers. My parents are working so hard so that they could send us to public schools and have a better education compared to them. They are not degree holders but I am very proud of having them as my parents. If given the chance to choose a parent, I would not exchange them for anyone, for the love and sacrifices they made for us in the family is everlasting and priceless.  Growing up we do not have the fancy things that today's generations have. We do not have our phones. When we were young, technology was not that evident in the house. We only have an old television version which we used to play only two local channels. But we were so happy listening and watching the black and white television that we had. We just have to think the positive side when things may seem dark.  Every time we had our classes in one of the public schools in our barangay, my parents always told us to study hard and do our best, for education is the only thing that cannot be taken away from you, your passport to have a better job and becoming a better individual. Luckily, together with my siblings, we always did our best in our studies and ensured that my parents would be proud of us.  >**Endless challenge** Whenever weekends came, we always went to our farm. Helping our parents clean the weeds and harvest whatever root crops were planted like corn, peanuts, and sweet potatoes. During vacation, my parents would encourage us to finish pulling the weeds on the farm so that we could go for a vacation to one of my aunts in Cebu City and if we will not be done, we were not allowed to have our vacation in Cebu City. Those teachings inculcate in our mind that if we want to have something, we should act out and exert effort to achieve it. Challenges are part of our sweet success.  >**Stay focus** Though you will face a lot of challenges where you will be questioned whether to push through or not with your dreams, just stay focused on the lane. For sure you will achieve whatever you are aiming for. With this, I am very proud to have parents who are always open and willing to support us in whatever decisions we make in life. When we are listening to our parents, we're open to suggestions and value one another in the family, then we will become successful individuals.  >**Worth the wait** Getting the degree and becoming a teacher today is because of my parent's sacrifices and effort. Without them I am nothing. Those sacrifices, teachings, and values imparted to us will always be remembered wherever we are. Things don't go as easy as you plan but the outcome is worth fighting for.  In my profession, I always told my students to do better in their studies and make their parents proud. Nothing is impossible if you exert effort and are willing to sacrifice, you will achieve what you dream of in your life.
