**"Masaya ang pasko sa bagong Cabuyao."** *(Christmas is merry in the new Cabuyao)*
Cities in the Philippines decorate Christmas like it's a well-damn competition, but it's not, lol. Starting in September, decorations pour in!
So here's a quick tour of Cabuyao city's massive and grand decorations throughout the Christmas Season.

**ENTRANCE**
Similar to what most population know, Vikings is a chill yet worth-a-scream ride. This is the most anticipated ride on the carnival because it is the most thrilling and stomach-turning.
Like its design, its target riders are children. Children's laughing and chuckling can be heard throughout this area — such stress relievers.
This ride is similar to Enchanted Kingdom's Flying Fiesta. Lock up your phones because this ride had the habit of pulling your phone down to the ground. Do not attempt to film, as it may cause accidents for other riders. ---

Upon setting foot on the wide field, this gigantic tower of lights greeted us. I then tilted my head to right, and my eyes landed on this massive **Christmas Tree full of lights!**

---
**CARNIVAL**

Once our eyes got enough of the shimmering lights, we headed right away to the Carnival, which displayed a total of **4 exhilarating rides** & several **gambling games.**
1. Vikings
2. Amore Express
3. Mickey Mouse Ride
4. Merry Mixed Up

**VIKINGS**

Similar to what most population know, Vikings is a chill yet worth-a-scream ride. This is the most anticipated ride on the carnival because it is the most thrilling and stomach-turning.
**AMORE EXPRESS**

Amore Express is a not-so-chill ride because you will fear your life. Not because of the ride but because of the fear that the whole ride would be on fire.
When we were passing by this ride, we saw black smoke coming out of the engine, so we were like, "Uh, no, it's not worth it." Lol
**MICKEY MOUSE RIDE**

Like its design, its target riders are children. Children's laughing and chuckling can be heard throughout this area — such stress relievers.
**MERRY MIXED UP**

This ride is similar to Enchanted Kingdom's Flying Fiesta. Lock up your phones because this ride had the habit of pulling your phone down to the ground. Do not attempt to film, as it may cause accidents for other riders. ---
**FOOD PARK**
It took us almost half an hour to find a table where six people would fit. But phew, thank goodness we've found one right before the stage.

The whole area is surrounded by food stalls that offer various foods: rice meals, snacks, sweets, and drinks!

**Rice Meals**
There are **BBQ, Shawarma Rice, and Siomai Rice** around the area from almost ten different stalls!
**Flavored Drinks** like Coffee and Fruit juices are available as well.
---
**STREET FOODS**
BUT, we're not yet through on the food stalls because there is MORE outside! When we had already decided that we were done fulling ourselves, we were shocked to see these stalls full of **street foods!**
There were sweet corn, pancakes, siomai, and cotton candies!

We ordered several **small intestines (chicken), chicken liver, pork fat, pork meat, etc.** These BBQs are then grilled through a small griller. We waited for over an hour for these meals as queues piled up when we ordered.

**Korean Foods** are available as well, like this fish cake and tteokbokki.

**Flavored Drinks** like Coffee and Fruit juices are available as well.

Christmas is indeed the season of sparkles and glamour. Even with the soaring inflation, Filos still lighted cities for this special season. **Let's shimmer this 2023, Hivers!**
