Title: PURE SOUL (1) (2) & (3) Medium: Oil and Charcoal on Card Size: 6" by 8" inches
Description:
CREATING 'PURE SOUL' IS A LABOR OF LOVE.
It begins with a brown cartoon, carefully cut to the perfect size. I then use my trusty black and white charcoal pencils to rule boxes and sketch out the composition.
The children's images take shape as I bring them to life with gentle strokes.
But what really sets the piece apart is the dominant image, which I treat to a vibrant makeover with oil color painting. This adds a pop of color and depth to the artwork, drawing the viewer's eye to the heart of the piece.
Through this mixed-media approach, I aim to capture the essence of innocence and serenity that defines 'Pure Soul'. The contrast between the charcoal and oil paint adds texture and visual interest, inviting the viewer to explore the artwork further.
In a world of many faces, One light shines through; untainted, innocent, and full of truth. Pure Soul speaks of the untouched essence of childhood, a reminder that even amid scars, silence, and brokenness, purity still radiates at the center of humanity.
