Greetings friends of Hive art, I haven't been here for a while, I hope you are doing well! It's been a long time since I wanted to draw one more time my friend Ana Soyunasantacruz, obviously I didn't ask her permission so I hope you like it haha. I feel like I had a lot of improvements since the last time I drew her a picture like this. Well let's talk about the drawing, My friend got a new haircut and I really love how it looks! I wanted to make an anime version being as faithful as possible to the reference photo, what I couldn't replicate 100% was her dress due to time and details issues, so I reinterpreted it my way. I tried to copy the pose and details, I think the proportions and color were good, unlike the previous drawing this one is full body.

Saludos amigos de Hive arte, tenia tiempo sin aparecer por aqui, espero estén muy bien! Ya hace mucho que quería dibujar una vez más a mi amiga Ana Soyunasantacruz, Obviamente no le pedí permiso asi que espero sea de su agrado jaja. Siento que tuve muchas mejorías desde la última vez que le hice un dibujo asi. Bien hablemos del dibujo, Mi amiga tiene un corte de cabello nuevo y realmente me encanta como le luce! Quise hacer una versión anime siendo lo mas fiel posible a la foto de referencia, Lo que no pude replicar al 100% fue su vestido por cuestiones de tiempo y detalles, así que lo reinterprete a mi manera. Trate de copiar la pose y detalles, creo que quedaron bien las proporciones y el color, a diferencia del anterior dibujo, este es de cuerpo entero.

Process/Proceso

This sketch will be really easy to "design" because it's just reinterpreting the reference, I'm not a fan of copying 100% of a pose, but in this case I really liked this photo. I love it!

Este boceto será realmente fácil de "diseñar" pues solo es reinterpretar la referencia, no soy muy fanático de copiar al 100% una pose, pero en este caso me gusto muchísimo esta foto. Me encanta!

Once the sketch is finished, all that remains is to make the lineart.

Una vez terminado el boceto solo queda hacer el lineart

For the lineart use a brush of size 3.1 and an opacity of 60%, with a total black color.

Para el lineart use un pincel de tamaño 3.1 y una opacidad del 60%, con un color negro total.

I don't remember asking me why the gray background, but basically that is done for the comfort of the artist, with a white screen the brightness is higher forcing much more the sight. Well we apply the base color, here I experimented with various shades until I get the one that I consider, is more similar and pleasing to the eye.

No recuerdo que me pregunto el porque el fondo gris, pero básicamente eso se hace para comodidad del artista, Con una pantalla en blanco el brillo es mayor forzando mucho mas la vista. Bien aplicamos el color base, aqui experimenté con varios tonos hasta conseguir el que yo considero, es más parecido y agradable a la vista.

When all the base color is finished, it is time to apply the shadows and highlights. In the reference photo we have a soft light source coming from the front mostly, in my drawing I want to give it a light source coming from the left side.

Al terminar todo el color base es momento de aplicar las sombras y luces. En la foto de referencia tenemos una fuente de luz suave que viene del frente mayormente, en mi dibujo le quiero dar una fuente de luz que viene desde el lado izquierdo.

We continue adding shadows, lights and details, I didn't copy the dress as it was due to time issues, but I added a couple of unique details.

Seguimos agregando sombras, luces y detalle, el vestido no lo copie tal cual por cuestiones de tiempo aun asi le agregue un par de detalles unicos.

After correcting and adding other details we ended up with the background very similar to the one in the reference.

Después de corregir y agregar otros detalles terminamos con el fondo muy parecido al de la referencia.
