My intention is only to reference or reinterpret, so we are not going to faithfully copy the original work. At least in this case, I wanted to draw the girl sitting in the opposite direction and leave a space to place the basket full of vials. Now we can do the sketch. This took me longer than I thought, and I had to discard the first version I made, which frustrated me a little, but after taking a break, I was able to continue and finish it. At this point, it crossed my mind to change the color of the sketch and leave it as line art... haha, but it wasn't going to look good, so I spent some more time finishing the line art in black and a brush called YUNA.

Mi intención es solo hacer referencia o reinterpretación, por lo que no vamos a copiar fielmente la obra original. Al menos en este caso quise dibujar a la chica sentada en dirección opuesta y dejar un espacio para colocar la cesta llena de viales. Ahora podemos hacer el boceto, esto me llevo mas tiempo de lo que pensaba y tuve que descartar la primera versión que hice, esto me frustro un poco pero después de un respiro pude seguir y terminarlo. en este punto me paso por la mente cambiar de color el boceto y dejarlo como lineart... jaja pero no iba a quedar bien asi que otro rato mas para terminar el lineart en color negro y pincel de nombre YUNA.

Llego en momento de decidir y agregar el color base, en teoría quise mantener el estilo animé pero acercarme un poquito a los tonos usados en la pintura original.

I thought about adding more characters in the background... but that would have taken me much longer, so I created a background similar to the original. I tried to add details and create a brushstroke effect, experimenting with different shapes and colors until I achieved something I was happy with. It took me some time to finish the background.

Trate de aplicar detalles y que diera el efecto de pinceladas, estuve experimentando varias formas y con varios colores para lograr algo con lo que estuviera conforme. I think that the fastest part of the whole creative process was the character's feet and face. It makes me wonder how long it took Charles to create the original.
As a detail, I made his feet a little dirty from walking without shoes, and I also added some dirt to the floor to give it a touch of detail. Of course, the basket and the vials also took some time...

Creo que de todo el proceso creativo la parte mas rápida fueron los pies y rostro del personaje, me hace pensar cuanto tiempo le tomo a charles crear el original.
como detalle le puse un poco sucios los pie de caminar sin calzado, también un suelo con algo de suciedad le da un toque de detalle. Por supuesto la cesta y los viales también llevan su tiempo...

The folds in the clothing were done according to my own criteria; I didn't want to use very bright or saturated colors except for the energy vials. At this point, I thought it would never end, but I didn't want to skip the small details. I left the details of the eyes for last.

Los pliegos de la ropa fueron a mi propio criterio, no quise usar colores muy brillantes o saturados salvo en los viales de energía. ya en este punto pensaba que nunca iba a terminar, pero no quería saltarme los pequeños detalles. deje para el final los detalles de los ojos.

To finish, we highlighted the eyelashes, corrected the color of the eyes a little, among other details. I took a long time to review the illustration, but even so, I know there are still details to finish. I didn't see them, but I know they're there, haha.

Para finalizar resaltamos las pestañas, corregimos un poco el color de los ojos entre otros detalles, me tome un buen rato para revisar la ilustración, pero aun así se que quedaron detalles por terminar no los vi pero se que están ahí jeje
