Well, we left the last day at an interesting point. I was doing a couple of side quests, but since none of them are particularly relevant, I won't go into mentioning them. In the previous chapter, Orcal gave us the location of the next hypercell, so we'll head straight there. We will go to a new area, called the Great Desert. When we get there, we will encounter the same problem as in the wasteland area; due to sandstorms there will be no electricity in the area, so we will have to look for the solar tower and repair it.
As I made my way to the tower site, I found a small house in the middle of a pond. In it was a droid fishing, in total silence. Next to it, there will be a fishing rod that we can take to use. Here we will learn to fish, it will be a simple but entertaining mini-game. I was there for a while and caught a few fish.
Then I continued my way until I reached the solar tower, but as soon as I approached the area, a big monster appeared. It will be the same monster we faced in previous chapters, only this one will have a different color. These types of enemies are sort of like "more dangerous versions" of bosses we've already defeated.
Remember last chapter we got a new ability after defeating Taqui? Well, I took the opportunity to test it against this enemy. It will be the classic rage/fury mode that we have seen in many games, only here it will have the name "Taqui mode". EVE will transform and we will be able to use Taqui's abilities, even our combos will change.
When we defeat him, we will be able to climb the solar tower and reset it to restore power to the area. With this problem solved, I took the opportunity to explore the desert a bit, as I had several side quests on this map.
After exploring the area as best I could, I arrived at the entrance of Abyss Levoire and, like last time, we will have to pass a combat test to access. We will have to defeat the warrior at the entrance. The combat will not be very good, as in the challenge that we overcame in previous chapters, this enemy will have only one combination that will repeat over and over again.
After defeating her, I was able to access and, again, we will see that there is no power in this area and that our melee weapons won't work either, so we will have to use our drone as a firearm to advance. I thought that these moments of "survival horror" would only happen once, but no.
We'll advance through the entire facility until we reach a ventilation area where some strange saws will activate. Which is funny because there's supposed to be "no power", but oh well. These saws will be in constant motion, we must calculate the right time to pass between them.
After passing the ventilation area, we will reach the capsule room which, personally, I really like the way it looks. Here there will be enemies around that will spit at us and throw projectiles.
I ended up coming to a corridor where there were a lot of enemies piled up and they were all coming towards us. Here I was thankful to have upgraded the drone, as I do quite a bit of damage and it was easy to finish them all off. Also, I tried some special shots of the drone like the laser beam.
The corridor led me to a laser room where you had to advance using some beams. Oddly enough, I died here once because, seeing that the lasers didn't kill you in one hit, I thought I could 'skip' the puzzle and advance directly by taking some damage. But I was wrong, because they take a lot of life.
At the end of this lab was a camp to rest. Which, by the way, during my exploration through this area, I found a new outfit that, while it makes me have divided feelings, I decided to equip it for a bit of a change. The only thing I don't like about it is that it has like a weird tail on the back.
When we pass the camp we will get to the room where the hypercell is. We will see that there is a big enemy, just like the one we defeated in previous chapters, only this one will be a little bigger. The combat will be exactly the same, we will use our arsenal of weapons to defeat him while he spits projectiles, lasers and summons small enemies from time to time.
When we defeat him we will obtain the hypercell and we will see that there is another Legacy, just like in the first laboratory. The Legacy will be the same person, but here he will have new information. He will say that he has discovered a great truth about humanity and that is that, due to the war unleashed by the mother sphere in the past, the surviving humans took refuge and had to evolve to fight the androids. That evolution led them to become Naytibas, that is, all the monsters that we have been killing, were once humans.
With the hypercell and legacy recovered, we will return directly to Orcal to ask him if he knows anything about this. Orcal will confirm everything that Raven (the legacy android) said. And, honestly, **I'm lost here. Ever since I started the game I've been thinking that EVE is an android, but the way the game shows you this as a "big reveal", I'm not supposed to know?** It was obvious to me that EVE wasn't human because of all the abilities she has haha. In fact, I think in the first post, back in June, I called her an "android".
But well, after talking to Orcal and clarifying some things about the origin of EVE, the Naytibas and all that, we made the decision to continue with our original plan: get enough Naytiba alpha cores to access the hive and, I guess, wipe them all out. Orcal will give us the location of the next Naytiba Alpha we must hunt. This time, our target is on the orbital station, in space. I have the feeling that we are already entering the final stretch of the game, because Adam recommends us to "prepare very well" before going into space. But well, we'll see what happens next day.

Bueno, el último día lo dejamos en un momento interesante. Estuve haciendo un par de misiones secundarias, pero como ninguna es especialmente relevante, no me dedicaré a mencionarlas. En el capítulo anterior, Orcal nos dio la ubicación de la próxima hipercelda, así que nos dirigiremos directamente hacia allá. Iremos a una nueva zona, llamada el Gran Desierto. Al llegar, nos encontraremos con el mismo problema que en la zona del páramo; debido a las tormentas de arena no habrá electricidad en la zona, por lo que deberemos buscar la torre solar y repararla.
Mientras me dirigía al lugar de la torre, encontré una pequeña casa en mitad de un estanque. En ella había un droide pescando, en total silencio. A su lado, habrá una caña de pescar que podremos tomar para usarla. Aquí aprenderemos a pescar, será un minijuego simple pero entretenido. Estuve un rato y pesqué unos cuantos peces.
Luego continué mi camino hasta llegar a la torre solar, pero apenas me acerqué a la zona, apareció un gran monstruo. Será el mismo monstruo al que nos enfrentamos en capítulos anteriores, solo que este tendrá un color distinto. Este tipo de enemigos son algo así como “versiones más peligrosas” de jefes a los que ya hemos derrotado.
¿Recuerdan que el capítulo anterior obtuvimos una nueva habilidad luego de vencer a Taqui? Bueno, aproveché para probarla contra este enemigo. Será el clásico modo ira/furia que hemos visto en muchos juegos, solo que aquí tendrá el nombre de “modo Taqui”. EVE se transformará y podremos usar las habilidades de Taqui, incluso nuestros combos cambiarán.
Al derrotarlo, podremos subir a la torre solar y reiniciarla para devolver la energía a la zona. Con este problema resuelto, aproveché para explorar un poco el desierto, ya que tenía varias misiones secundarias en este mapa.
Luego de explorar la zona lo mejor que pude, llegué a la entrada de Abyss Levoire y, al igual que la vez pasada, deberemos superar una prueba de combate para poder acceder. Habrá que derrotar a la guerrera de la entrada. El combate no será muy bueno, al igual que en el desafío que superamos en capítulos anteriores, esta enemiga tendrá solo una combinación que repetirá una y otra vez.
Luego de vencerla, pude acceder y, nuevamente, veremos que no hay energía en esta zona y que nuestras armas cuerpo a cuerpo tampoco funcionarán, por lo que deberemos usar nuestro dron como arma de fuego para avanzar. Pensaba que esos momentos de “survival horror” solo ocurrirían una vez, pero no.
Avanzaremos por todo el establecimiento hasta llegar a una zona de ventilación donde unas extrañas sierras se activarán. Lo cual es curioso porque se supone que “no hay energía”, pero bueno. Estas sierras estarán en constante movimiento, deberemos calcular el momento justo para pasar entre ellas.
Al pasar la zona de la ventilación, llegaremos a la sala de cápsulas que, personalmente, me gusta mucho cómo se ve. Aquí habrá enemigos por los alrededores que nos escupirán y lanzarán proyectiles.
Terminé llegando a un pasillo donde había muchos enemigos acumulados y venían todos hacia nosotros. Aquí agradecí haber mejorado el dron, ya que hago bastante daño y fue fácil acabar con todos. Además, probé algunos disparos especiales del dron como el rayo láser.
El pasillo me llevó a una sala de láseres donde había que avanzar usando unas vigas. Curiosamente, morí aquí una vez porque, al ver que los láseres no te mataban de un solo toque, pensé que podía 'saltarme' el puzle y avanzar directamente recibiendo algo de daño. Pero me equivoqué, porque quitan mucha vida.
Al final de este laboratorio había un campamento para descansar. Que, por cierto, durante mi exploración por esta zona, encontré un nuevo traje que, si bien hace que tenga sentimientos divididos, decidí equipármelo por cambiar un poco. Lo único que no me gusta es que tiene como una cola rara en la espalda.
Al pasar el campamento llegaremos a la sala donde está la hipercelda. Veremos que hay un gran enemigo, igual al que derrotamos en capítulos anteriores, solo que este será un poco más grande. El combate será exactamente igual, usaremos nuestro arsenal de armas para vencerlo mientras él nos escupe proyectiles, láseres e invoca pequeños enemigos de vez en cuando.
Al derrotarlo obtendremos la hipercelda y veremos que hay otro Legado, igual que en el primer laboratorio. El Legado será de la misma persona, pero aquí tendrá nueva información. Dirá que ha descubierto una gran verdad sobre la humanidad y es que, debido a la guerra que desató la madre esfera en el pasado, los humanos sobrevivientes se refugiaron y tuvieron que evolucionar para combatir a los androides. Esa evolución los llevó a convertirse en Naytibas, es decir, todos los monstruos que hemos estado matando, antiguamente eran humanos.
Con la hipercelda y el legado recuperados, regresaremos directamente con Orcal para preguntarle si sabe algo de esto. Orcal nos confirmará todo lo que Raven (la androide del legado) dijo. Y, sinceramente, **yo aquí me perdí. Desde que comencé el juego llevo pensando que EVE es un androide, pero por la forma en que el juego te muestra esto como una "gran revelación", ¿se supone que yo no debería saberlo?** Para mí era obvio que EVE no era humana por todas las habilidades que tiene jajaja. De hecho, creo que en el primer post, en Junio, la llamé "androide".
Pero bueno, después de hablar con Orcal y aclarar algunas cosas sobre el origen de EVE, los Naytibas y todo eso, tomamos la decisión de continuar con nuestro plan original: conseguir suficientes núcleos alfa de Naytiba para acceder a la colmena y, supongo, acabar con todos ellos. Orcal nos dará la ubicación del próximo Naytiba Alfa que debemos cazar. Esta vez, nuestro objetivo se encuentra en la estación orbital, en el espacio. Tengo la sensación de que ya estamos entrando en el tramo final del juego, porque Adam nos recomienda "prepararnos muy bien" antes de ir al espacio. Pero bueno, ya veremos qué ocurre el próximo día.
