My name is @sessy, and it's such an honor to be back here, i feel so elated. I've been away for some weeks due to work and health issues, i apologize for taking some weeks off without prior notice, the past few weeks have been so challenging for me, but I'm back and better now, and i must confess, i missed y'all and I'm sure you all missed me as much as I do, and like i said earlier, i feel so happy to be here once again.
Our theme for the week is TRADICIONAL MUSIC, and in reference to that, I'll be singing a Yoruba song by:
Shola Allyson, titled - "Iri" which means "Dew".
Iri happens to be one of my favorite song in all of Shola Allison's album, it's a very beautiful and soulful song, a song filled with prayers.
Here are a few prayers point i love and picked from the song: Let your light shine anew onto my path. Let the Peace that comes from you rest on me. Show me the path I should walk in, my Guide. When trials come, Lord watch over me. And when my soul gets weary, let your dew fall on me.
As someone who loves the morning dew, I usually would go out into my compound very early in the morning, so the morning dew can fall on me as I sing this song and pray to God.
