Today was spent in a relaxing family atmosphere. We went to my wife’s father and brother in the countryside, had some meat for lunch and ate some cakes, of course with beer and coffee afterwards, nicely outside in the sun, although it was a bit chilly because the bura (a cold, dry northern wind typical of the Adriatic) started blowing. Even though it’s cold, I always like it because it brings clear weather and clean, fresh air, so most people in my area really enjoy it.
It was just my wife and me; our son couldn’t come, he was too tired because he got back late from a competition yesterday and didn’t feel like going. At a competition with 483 competitors from 3 countries and 47 clubs, he won a bronze medal. He thought he wouldn’t achieve anything because he strained his groin four days earlier, but he still managed to win a medal.
So we also relaxed a little, since we don’t often go somewhere just the two of us. We already agreed that next week, when everyone is free, we’ll come again, make a barbecue, and enjoy ourselves if the weather is nice.
