I believe most of you have a pet of some kind, and that you’ve taught them something—to listen to their owner’s commands, to behave well, not to be aggressive, and so on. Well, this is my cat and my darling, his name is Loky, and he’s now turning five years old.
I’m not sure how cat years are calculated, but I do know that every morning when I come home from my night shift, he greets me on the wall by the house, and then we go into the apartment together. There I give him his treats, and then we go to sleep together. I also know that he always sees me off when I leave for work in the evening, in that special way cats do—as if to say, “Have a good night, boss”—and that warm, loving look of his instantly makes my heart lighter. I know that when I say, “Loky, let’s eat,” he comes right away, no matter where he is. And when I tell him “NO,” it’s as if he understands everything—the tone of my voice—and he changes his behavior.
In short, you’ll see in the photos all his poses and most of the spots where he sprawls out during the summer. He now weighs almost 10.5 kg, and after what happened three years ago—when he got sick, barely survived, and couldn’t even stand on his legs—he’s now a truly magnificent cat. When he lies on the wall by the entrance to the house, there isn’t a person who doesn’t stop to take a picture of him or give him a little pat on the head—which he adores, just like every cat.
Enjoy, dear friends and fellow cat lovers.
