Pimp Your Post Thursday is the longest running post promotion show on the Steem blockchain. It’s been running since October 2017. We’ve shared thousands of posts and met hundreds of people. Made some great friends.
Every Thursday we come together twice. Some come to both shows, some come to just the one which works for them. There’s the recorded show and there’s the after chat. Everyone is welcome.
Today will be the last time the show is just about posts from Steem.
HIVE is Born on Friday
Friday at 10am EST / 2pm UTC the switch will be flipped (metaphorically) to bring the HIVE blockchain to life. It’s a refuge for all those who refuse to bend to the will and whimsy of Justin Sun and his sock puppets.
Many are looking forward to taking the leap and going exclusively HIVE. Some are continuing to focus on STEEM even though they will have accounts there waiting for them on HIVE. Some will be part of both chains. Sort of like having the home base and the cottage to visit.
The Ramble Will Evolve With the Change
The Ramble discord is going to welcome HIVE and STEEM. The people who make up the community we love so much are going to be spread out across two chains. There is no reason for fracture. It’s more like family growing up and moving out to their own places. They still want to be connected. To share with each other.
Starting next Thursday, Pimp Your Post Thursday will welcome posts from either chain during the shows. They’ll be like the potluck socials bringing a community together to share and laugh with each other.
