Friends, welcome to you from Three Speak Channel. Friends, it is now 12:30 at night. Today many guests came to our house. Hey, I made pitha for the guests.
I am going to share that with you. When we were children, we used to watch our mothers and aunts make many types of pitha when the guests came. But now, due to lack of time, we don't want to work hard.
We used to make pitha all night long, in the morning, everyone woke up and we used to eat delicious pitha. None of us can see those days anymore. Today, I made many pitha, so I shared some with you. I hope you will like it too.
Now we are so busy that no one can make the delicious pitha like before. In winter, we used to make bhapa pitha, puli pitha, dudh pitha and many other types of pitha.
They were as beautiful to look at as they were fun to eat. I miss those childhood days a lot.
I learned to make this pitha today from my mother. We usually eat this pitha during Eid al-Adha because everyone has meat at home. Meat is needed to make the pitha.
So let's see how I made the pitha today.
First, I boiled the meat with turmeric and salt. Then, after the meat was cooked, I cut it into small pieces.
Then I add oil to a pan and stir fry some onions and green chillies. When the onions turn a little red, I will add the minced meat. And I will add all the spices. Now stir well and when the meat turns a little red, I will remove it from the stove.
Now I will make roti with boiled rice flour. Now I will cut the roti into small pieces with the help of a knife and then I will make a beautiful shape with meat filling in the cut part and make a pitha.
Now, pour oil in a pan and fry the pithas until they turn brown. These pithas are as beautiful to look at as they are to eat. This is a traditional pitha of our Bengalis. We are Bengalis, so we like to make many types of pitha.
When we make these pithas, we feel like we are Bengalis at heart. Pithas are usually not made alone, everyone has to make them together.
That's when the atmosphere gets really lively. It's so much fun to make pithas together, talking and having fun. This has been happening for ages. I hope it will continue for ages.
I hope you enjoy watching the video.
