I've only recently starting playing again after renting out all of my cards, and I have to say that the rewards were a little underwhelming. They're not horrible, but they also aren't worth as much as my rentals would have brought in for the season. One thing to keep in mind, though, is that I'm earning SPS by playing and I'd be earning DEC by renting. SPS could and should be worth much more in the future. The best case scenario for DEC is that it's worth $1 per 1000. However, I would probably spend the DEC on assets that could also appreciate, so maybe it's about the same either way.

Rating High 1423 4555

Longest Streak 26 10

I made a mistake by continuing to try to gain rank right at the end. When I woke up this morning, I was in 23rd place on the Champion leaderboard and would've earned 40,000 DEC. Throughout the morning, I mostly lost matches and ended up not earning any DEC at all. You can't win if you don't try, though, right? I was hoping to get even higher up on the leaderboard, but the competition is stiff.

For the most part, I don't play tournaments. I would probably delete that section from this report card if I could. I played one and was surprised that I made it to the second round. Once I tried battling in the second round, though, I quickly gave up. I've been playing this game for nearly 4 years, and it seems like the same people who were winning every tournament at the beginning of tournaments are still winning every tournament, for the most part. There are a few newer names in there, but those are probably just alt accounts owned by the people who have always been winning the tournaments. They do very well as far as earnings are concerned and can probably afford to have several Champion level decks.

Even though the rewards cards are not worth a lot while they're in print, many of them are going to be out of print soon. I did get four legendary cards, which is cool. The legendary rumble is still so exciting even after all of these years.

I'm surprised to see I spent over 10k DEC on rentals. I don't really rent that many cards, but I did rent a few. I was renting Almo Cambio for a while, but it was several thousand DEC a day. I decided to just buy the card. At one point, I had some of them, but it wasn't maxed. I must've sold it because it seemed too expensive to max it out. I didn't realize how useful the card was before, though. After seeing it so often in lineups that beat me, I realized it was a necessary card. Last weekend, I bought 11 of them and combined them to max it. Now I won't have to rent that card anymore.

Making 54k DEC while still playing is better than I thought I'd do. I'm not even sure that I even rented out every card I wasn't using. There are so many cards in my collection that it can be hard to figure it out sometimes. I'm actually in the process of transferring every card I don't want to play with to another account of mine and using that account to rent cards out.

No jackpots, but I did get over 900 SPS this season, which isn't bad. I'm not complaining about that.

Lux Vega!

I did end up getting a Lux Vega today, which is very exciting. I took off work a little early to make sure I got home on time, and I'd been hanging onto the DEC and vouchers for a while now. If I was unsuccessful in buying the card, I would've been so disappointed. But at least I would've had DEC to spend on something else, I guess. If I didn't get a card today, I might've saved the DEC to try to bid on a Lux Vega and get one for not too much extra.
