Over the weekend, I joined a pickleball session last minute. Originally, I had some other choices but they ended up being full. It worked out in the end because the owners for this place gave the session an extra hour so I ended up being able to play for 4 hours for RM25 which was pretty good. The hosts for the session gave free soya bean so I took the Jasmine soya bean and I took this photo for IG to help tag them and thanked them for the drink as well as the extra hour which pretty much explains the above picture.
Today, I will be sharing my three songs as usual for Three Tune Tuesday. I turned 29 today so I found a singer that has 29 in their name. I will be sharing three songs from 庄淇玟29. Yes, all these songs will be in Chinese.

I think this is a great song for introduction. It has a great message and I feel it's very relatable to me and many in the world especially from those that come from Asian families. There's a stereotype that Asians have to be learn piano, become a lawyer, doctor, engineer some sort of high paying job. It's somewhat true though because there's this link for Asians with money and that equals a happy life so "that's the way to live". There's always situations where people will have expectations of you. In the end, it's your life and you should do what makes you happy. For example for me, I came to Malaysia and that went against many expectations of many people. They feel America is better and has more opportunities which I can't deny. In the end after studying in Malaysia, I just felt Malaysia was where I was meant to be.

For me, I liked the bit of ancient classical Chinese music combined with the modern music. I'm not sure how to explain this song. This song is about a guy writing poetry for the girl he likes. I believe the guy uses the moon and the experiences together to convey his feelings towards her.

Finally, the last song is another love song. I like it because it's sweet and simple. With the lyrics, you can visualize the scene of that wind blowing and the two lovers next to each other talking. The guy wants to freeze that moment and I guess the way to trigger that memory is through the wind hence the title of the song is listen to the wind.
