I've been busy following my mom around and eating food. I have lots and lots of food photos from the past week. Times been going by kind of fast and she will be leaving soon. It's Wednesday here but I still want to write my three tune Tuesday post; I try not to miss this one at least. I need to get back to writing more and I probably will once my mom is done with her visit. Today, I will be sharing random songs that I found recently which I liked. Hopefully, you will also like one of these songs!
The Lonely Whale - tuki.
Tuki is no new singer. I've featured her before in one of my three tune Tuesday posts. I found the animation for this song to be cute. I also thought the song gave a very warm and wholesome feel to it. I believe the song is about someone that feels like they are lonely and they sing to cope with the loneliness as well as go into their dreams.
DREAM - LISA
I'm surprised this song never came into my radar. I only found out it recently from this short film mv. The song feels simple but Lisa's voice along with the music is catchy to the ears. Based on the lyrics, I believe the song is about a partner dying and the person can't forget them. They miss him/her and can only be happy when he/she dreams about him/her. Towards the end of the video, you can see that she's holding an urn (if I'm not mistaken) which further supports my point on the meaning of the song.
我會忍住不想你 Trying not to miss you - 謝子新 Dini
Finally, it's the last song "Trying not to miss you" by Dini. This song seems to be her first song. The rest of her videos on Youtube are covers. I wouldn't say the song is amazing but it fits the standard emo chinese song. It's a great first song for her and I hope she has more success in the future.
