Update On My Splinterlands Journey

@shawnnft · 2025-09-25 19:42 · Splinterlands

It's been a long time snice I wrote a Splinterlands post. It doesn't mean that I've stopped playing Splinterlands. I actually started to play frontier when it was released but before that I only did brawls while I had my bot play in wild. I feel I've kind of reached my goal in Splinterlands which I will share more later and I'm not too sure where to go from here.

In this post, I will just update everything on my Splinterlands journey and my thoughts on some of the things that have been released since my last post. I won't be writing as much about Splinterlands as I used too unless I find something interesting or give another update sometime next year.

Conflicts

I'm actually participating in conflicts even though there was drama on it that it's too expensive. I do feel that this airdrop was worse than the previous sets. With the release of black foil, the collection power needed for airdrops increased drastically for guaranteed. I feel this didn't really allow the smaller wallets to participate.

I think one of the crazy things is I had a 0.125% chance to get an airdrop and somehow managed to get 2 for the first airdrop. I didn't get any for the second airdrop hence I didn't share here.

I'm still going for the 3rd one even though I don't have guaranteed. I hope to get at least one because this card is insane.

250k SPS and 2.5M CP

I'm proud to have these two badges. I think it's a big milestone to reach 250k SPS staked and 2.5M CP in cards. I'm quite content with where I am. There's a high chance my crypto mentor may give me his cards in the future because it's too hard for him to calculate the taxes for it which would be $14k worth of cards as of this post and about 9.6M CP.

Frontier

I've been enjoying frontier. It reminded me of the old days of Splinterlands during the first set of Chaos Legion rewards where you could earn stuff and sell them to grow a collection. It's definitely a positive for onboarding new players. I'm looking forward to the next set of frontier reward cards in October. I'm also hoping to have a max set of frontier cards.

Dar Gottem Gearnut

This card is actually insane. The biggest health card in the game now. I actually bought one just for collection purposes! The max version of this card will definitely be a meta changer. If this card gets shield from another unit and has some healing in the back, I think it will be the best tank in the game.

Focus Now

My focus now is to max the rebellion reward cards and my gladius cards. For the rebellion reward cards, I haven't max all the epic and legendary cards yet. As for my gladius cards, I only have the legendary cards left. I think this will be done by the end of the year depending on my luck from the draws.

Closing Thoughts

A lot has happened in Splinterlands over the years. There's been ups and downs. Despite this, I still feel this is the best web3 game out there. Splinterlands also has a great and welcoming community for new players. Most of the other crypto games have died and announced their cease of operations. It's actually wild because some of those games were considered triple aaa games. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the future of Splinterlands and hope for the best~. I hope Splinterlands can reach to the levels of Magic the gathering and pokemon cards.

Lastly, I've also onboarded one player @coachdee. I hope he's still playing and if anybody is interesting in playing do comment below or hit me up on discord. I'll give you my referral and can guide you on how to get started!
