If you have ever scrolled through INLEO and feel like everyone looks cool and understands what is going on, but you don't, then you will understand how I feel every weekend.
It's the weekend again, and I decided to scroll threads and see if I could get a hang of what is going on with $LEO and believe me, it didn't work out as I thought it would. I stared at everyone's threads, looked through their replies, everything they are talking about sounds cool but I didn't know where to start and join the conversation. I want to be a part of the cool people's club and if you have stared at them long enough, you will understand just how I am feeling right now. How do I go from someone who writes fiction to someone who understands how SURGE and LSTR work? I did scroll through @lstr.voter account, his threads kept talking about numbers and data and I didn't know when I dropped my phone. Maybe this club is not for me, I quietly told my defeated self. Fortunately, I saw Khal's and said, "Oh, look the CEO is speaking, let's see if we could understand that." No, it didn't work out. He talked about how much people did not understand how LSTR and SURGE works, and of course, I happened to be one of them. I scrolled his threads a few more and he is talking about the same thing. I just wanted to know where to start and be one of the cool kids but it seems like something beyond my control is against me. Almost as soon as my give up spirit wanted to win, another voice told me, "What if you just write about how you are feeling now?" Someone might see it, and give you a hand, you know? That's how I got here. Scribbling things that may not make any sense to you but seem to make sense to me. If there's something I understand about all of this, it should be something along the line of, "I need to dip my feet into the water to know if it's warm or cold."
I probably need to be as active as I am on snap, on threads, to fully grasp what the cool kids are always talking about. Will I get a hang of it? Maybe, maybe not but I might end up making friends along the way. Sincerely, I went back to Khal's threads and I visited the profiles he recommended to learn about SURGE and LSTR. I got to learn that while most of the investment portfolios we have on Hive are tilted towards wealth preservation, investing in Surge advances you towards wealth building.
It was a good point that @leostrategy made because a good number of us do not have the luxury of preserving wealth because we are in the building phase. If we did not have bills to pay that depended on our investments yielding the desired results then those wealth preservation portfolios would be a juicy option.
Since we need to pay bills, SURGE should be a token we should look to invest in. The upside is, we get to invest in a token that is pegged at $1, with an opportunity to maximize on earning yields, and at the end of this race, we will have the chance to see our assets appreciate. Once it appreciates, we are left with the option to trade the SURGE token for LSTR tokens or hodl depending on what level of risk we have.
He did give a lot of illustrations which I encourage you to read for yourself. I believe if you read that post, you will be convinced SURGE has great potential. Let me share that the yield options you are going to earn is said to be;
Stable income stream → dividends paid in USDC (or HBD or LSTR based on User Preference weekly
That’s why I believe SURGE might be the token for people like me who are still building wealth, not just preserving it. Do I plan to buy? Yes, I plan to buy when my rewards come in. Should you buy? Only you can decide, but for builders like us, it is a YES!!!
