What food do you eat to make you feel good especially when you're stressed? For me, fruits.
I went to the market earlier. I bought fruits watermelon, apples and mangoes to make a simple lamaw, a yummy, refreshing and nourishing dessert. All you need to do is just mix it all together, put some evap, condence milk, ice and voilahhh!
If I had to choose between fruits or junkfoods, I would always choose fruits without any hesitation. I super love fruits. Aside from having a lot of healthy benefits, it is definitely tastier than any other unhealthy foods.
Good thing about going to market is you can choose and buy freshly picked fruits and veggies. Bad thing is our house is quite far from market. It takes 15-20 minutes drive. And the price of fuel, fares and goods has increased now. It's kinda hassle and tiring sometimes.
But there's a good news! Farmers' Market is finally back here in our City! So happy because we can now buy directly from them and it will help them too. :) I love to buy from them especially when they sell fresh veggies like eggplant, pechay, bitter gourd, okra, tomatoes, squash, string beans and sweet potato because those are my favorites!
